Hot Buttered Rum Recipes
Hot Buttered Rum
Add 3 teaspoons of Hot Buttered Rum Mix to 6-8 ounces of hot, not boiling, water. Stir until mix is dissolved. Garnish with whipped cream, cinnamon sticks, and/or nutmeg if desired. (Larger Amounts: Add one package of Hot Buttered Rum Mix to 1 quart of water.)
Hot Buttered Rum Dessert Sauce
In a saucepan combines 1-2 teaspoons of Hot Buttered Rum Mix to 1 cup sugar, 1/2 cup butter, and 1/2 cup cream. Stir occasionally until hot. Serve over ice cream, fruit, or bread pudding.
Hot Toddy
Follow instructions for Hot Buttered Rum and add 1 jigger of your favorite rum to taste. For a delicious twist add a dash of brandy or flavored liqueur.
Other Great Beverage Ideas
