Twinlab Gentle C 500 with Citrus Bioflavonoid Complex is a unique ascorbate complex bound to Calcium from Calcium Carbonate. This Gentle-C is just what the product name says - Gentle. I cannot take Ascorbic Acid Vitamin C because it is too acidic and triggers cold sores. I like that this product is Vitamin C derived from Calcium Ascorbate which is gentler and less acidic to my system. The tablets are rounded and easy to swallow. I'd highly recommend this.
