I was pleased to see that the fork and spoof to match the bowls and plates we've been using since our preschooler was starting solid food are well-shaped and durable. The spoon is not too deep or wide to fit in tiny mouths, but substantial enough to make a dent in the food. The fork is hard enough to pierce most any toddler tidbit, but easier on the tiny teeth than steel.
