Since Rapunzel introduced the world's first chocolate made of 100% controlled organic ingredients to the wholefoods trade, a varied range of 21 fine varieties of chocolate has developed which is appreciated around the world. Rapunzel have thereby remained true to their original quality principles: All ingredients originate from controlled organic farming and, where these involve products from so-called developing countries, are all fair trade products!

Hand in Hand Projects by Rapunzel Naturkost
Hand in Hand combines the idea of certified organic products with fair trade. Long-term and guaranteed trade relationships provide new future prospects for Rapunzel's farmers and best organic quality for their customers. Rapunzel started the Hand in Hand project in 1987 with one trade partner – the El Ceibo cooperative. Today, the Hand in Hand group has grown to 14 partners. They supply Rapunzel with 11 important fair trade raw materials.
A long-term cooperation based on trust, a continuous exchange of information, personal visits and sustained quality controls guarantees the excellent standard of Rapunzel's products. Inspection by independent external certification bodies provides additional assurance.
The company-owned Hand in Hand seal can be found on all products that contain at least 51% raw materials from Rapunzel's Hand in Hand partners. Products with less than 51% Hand in Hand raw materials are not labeled. Currently, over 80 Rapunzel products are bearing the Hand in Hand seal.
