Chamomile Lemon by
The Republic of Tea
Potent herbs such as chamomile, skullcap, and valerian root are known for their ability to soothe the body. Contemporary German pharmaceutical companies produce chamomile extracts for a wide range of conditions, including insomnia. Recent studies in Europe and Russia have supported skullcaps effectiveness as a sedative, attributed to flavonoid glycosides in the volatile oil. Valerian has been a centuries-old folk tranquilizer and sleep aid; modern studies indicate that its active ingredient is indeed a tranquilizer (making this tea a good choice before bedtime).
Suggested Use
Infuse one rounded teaspoon or one tea bag per cup for four to seven minutes. Ice this herbal blend for a soothing beverage.
Ingredients
Lemon balm, linden flower, orange blossoms, chamomile, lavender flower, skullcap, passion flower and valerian root.
