Very peppery and spicy, hot and temperamental. Much like the fresh culinary herb; heavy, rich and very powerful/pungent.
Aromatherapy Properties: Strong immune system supporter, and great for the digestive system and coughs. However, it's also very irritating to the skin and rather harsh in odor.
This oil is very potent in its pure form and very likely to irritate skin and membranes. It should never be used on the skin directly, or ingested undiluted. Sweet Marjoram represents the same aroma with a wider range of properties, while being much more easy to handle and enjoy.

Suggested Use
For cooking applications please use Aromaland's Oregano in Olive Oil, or make your own by blending up to 2% (18 drops per 1oz. of product) Oregano Oil with Canola, Grapeseed or Olive Oil. Use this oil in salad dressings, sauces and savory dishes.
We strongly recommend Sweet Marjoram as a milder, less irritating alternative that also has a more subtle and complete aroma.
