The lotion is thick enough to seal moisture and protect delicate skin. It has a nice rose scent. I gave the product 4 stars because I didn't like the texture. It wasn't smooth, and I had to massage it in so it would absorb, which is a hard task when you have to deal with an active toddler that doesn't stay still. It didn't work for the face either; my child got a slight rash after I used it on her face.
