Jarrow Formulas Pet Dophilus is a probiotic formulation designed to help your pet maintain a balanced intestinal microbial ecosystem in order to promote intestinal health and immune function. In addition to probiotics, Jarrow Formulas Pet Dophilus also contains inulin and Metabolin. Inulin is a natural fiber that helps promote the growth of the beneficial microorganisms. Metabolin is a supernatant powder (special blend of cell wall components and metabolites derived from the fermentation of beneficial bacteria, including Lactobacillus and Propionibacterium species), and works synergistically with the probiotic bacteria. Each gram of Jarrow Formulas Pet Dophilus (approximately 1/4 teaspoon) contains a minimum of 1 billion total probiotic bacteria.

Suggested Use
Probiotic supplement for cats and dogs. Mix the following quantity daily into food or water.
- For cats and small dogs: 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon (0.5 to 1.0 g)
- For medium size dogs: 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon (1.0 to 2.0 g)
- For large size dogs: 1/2 to 1 full teaspoon (2.0 to 4.0 g)
Or give as directed by your pet's veterinarian.
Storage Instructions: Does not require refrigeration and best to store in a cool, dry place. Cooler temperatures and refrigeration will extend the shelf life.

Great for your Pet's immune system and digestive health. Been using this along with Nature's Variety Raw Diet and our Dog is in Super Health. (Add a cold pack to your order if its summertime as this product needs to be kept cold)

Easily digested. Have a 17 year old staffie terrier on it forever. She has broken age records for her breed. She is a picture of excellent health for such an older little lady.

In comparing the ingredients to other pet probiotics I like this product. I have two 'mini" yorkies and sprinkle this on their Raw Diet. I just finished the first jar I purchased and plan on reordering.

Our Texas Heeler puppy had two bacterial infections by the age of 4 months. The vet didn't know what was causing it. Hank also had a hard time with his vaccinations. I decided to boost his immune system. He gets a tsp of Jarrow daily with yogurt or sweet potato and he has not had another infection! I also give him an immune booster from Pet Naturals of Vermont . He is doing great.

Jarrow Formulas is a top notch company so that is why I went with their product for my dogs. Only downfall is that it doesn't come in a larger size bottle.
