Psi Bands - Nausea Relief Wrist Band Drug Free Racer Black - 2 Bands

Psi Bands Nausea Relief Wrist Bands are a drug-free way to relieve nausea due to morning sickness (pregnancy), motion sickness/travel, chemotherapy, and post-operative nausea from anesthesia. Unlike any product on the market, Psi Bands (pronounced "Sigh Bands") are: Drug-free, Adjustable, Comfortable, Fashionable, Waterproof, Reusable, and Affordable. FDA-cleared Psi Bands are a stylish alternative for those who suffer from nausea.

The Psi Bands Story
Created by two fashion-forward moms-to-be looking for a drug-free way to treat their ongoing morning sickness. They discovered the benefits of wrist acupressure to relieve their nausea and vomiting.

Psi Bands Frequently Asked Questions

What is acupressure?
Acupressure is the stimulation of specific points throughout the body. This therapy may be self-administered or conducted by another person using fingers, thumbs, elbows, or feet to apply pressure to a specific point(s) to provide comfort and alleviate a symptom(s). Acupressure uses pressure to stimulate the body's natural self-curative abilities.

How do Psi Bands work?
Psi Bands use wrist acupressure, an ancient healing art. Scientific studies support the use of wrist acupressure in the relief of nausea.

How do I wear Psi Bands?
How to Position Psi Bands:

  1. Place one band on the inside of each wrist, 2 1/2 finger widths above the center of your wrist crease between the wrist tendons. This placement is known as the Nei-kuan acupressure point. The button should be facing in and the dial should be facing out.
  2. Both bands should be worn at the same time.

How to Adjust Psi Bands:

  1. To adjust the band size around the wrist, place the post of the dial through the appropriate band hole. Feed the slack of the band under the slide-able collar, just as you would with a watch. It should feel snug yet comfortable.
  2. To increase or decrease pressure on the Nei-kuan acupressure point, rotate the dial. It should feel snug yet comfortable.

What colors and designs do you have available?
There are five designs from which to choose.

  • Block Party
  • Daisy Chain
  • Racer Black
  • Cherry Blossom
  • Color Play

Will Psi Bands fit me?
One size fits most. Psi Bands use a watch-like adjustable band with multiple settings from which to choose. They will fit wrists measuring 5 1/4 inches up to 8 1/4 inches in diameter.

How many Psi Bands come in one package?
A package contains two Psi Bands wrist bands.

Are Psi Bands reusable?
Psi Bands are reusable and should be replaced if they no longer provide pressure on the Nei-kuan acupressure point.

Do I have to wear both bands?
Yes, both bands should be worn at the same time.

How long do I have to wear Psi Bands?
Psi Bands may be worn on an as needed basis at the first sign of nausea. Clinical studies support their effectiveness up to 48 continuous hours. They are reusable. They may also be worn up to 5 minutes before traveling or surgery. The response to acupressure is individual. While some experience relief within minutes, others notice changes in hours or subsequent days.

How do I clean Psi Bands?
To clean Psi Bands, use a damp cloth with mild soap and wipe gently; air dry.

How did you come up with the name Psi Bands?
Psi, pronounced "sigh", is the acronym for pounds per square inch, the term used to describe a unit of pressure. Psi Bands are worn on the Nei-kuan acupressure point. They are drug-free wrist bands for the relief of nausea. Breathe a "Psi" of Relief!

Psi Bands' Mission
Psi Health Solutions, Inc., the maker of Psi Bands, is committed to utilizing the latest research in proven complementary alternatives in order to provide high-quality, fashionable, comfortable, and affordable products that make a positive difference in people's health.

"Mother Tested and Approved"
Psi Bands (pronounced "Sigh Bands") were created by two fashion-forward moms-to-be looking for a drug-free way to treat their ongoing morning sickness. Determined to feel better without using drugs, they discovered the benefits of wrist acupressure to relieve their nausea and vomiting. Acupressure uses pressure to stimulate the body's natural self-curative abilities.

Unsatisfied with existing products on the market, and wanting to create something “more” for others who suffer from nausea (as you can imagine, they are incredibly compassionate towards others who suffer from nausea), they teamed up with an award-winning Product Designer to create Psi Bands, drug-free wrist bands for the relief of nausea due to morning sickness (pregnancy), motion sickness/travel, chemotherapy, and anesthesia.

Suggested Use

Back to top of page

  1. Place the button of each Psi band on the Nei-kuan acupressure point.
  2. Wrap the bands around your wrists to secure.
  3. Adjust the dial to choose the amount of pressure for personalized comfort.

Psi Bands should only be used on the Nei-kuan acupressure point. Use at any other location will not relieve nausea.

The effectiveness of Psi Bands may vary depending upon patient selection, or may vary between patients depending upon individual patient characteristics.

Nausea and vomiting can be associated with serious conditions. Contact a doctor if symptoms persist.

The button may leave a temporary visible ring on your skin. If skin irritation, pain, or swelling occurs beneath the bands or buttons, stop wearing the bands. Call your doctor if symptoms persist.

If you have a problem with reduced circulation, contact a doctor before using Psi Bands.

Although acupressure may be effective on its own or when combined with other forms of therapy, it should not be used as a replacement for doctor-prescribed treatment. Acupressure provides symptomatic relief and is not curative.

Keep out of the reach of young children. This is not a toy. The dial, button, and collar are choking hazards if removed. Use only as directed.

Contraindications: None known. Psi Bands are a latex-free product.

Big help for pregnancy nausea! I ordered the black ones, so they could go with anything. I don't use them all the time; just at the times of day that are harder for me, or when riding the bus home from work (since it makes a lot of turns it tends to contribute motion sickness to my pregnancy nausea). I wouldn't say it erases nausea, but it definitely takes the "edge" off to where it is more manageable. Some people say it completely removes their nausea. I followed the instructions the best I could for where to place them on your wrists, so perhaps that contributes if I'm not doing it correctly (although I seem to be doing it just like the instructions and photos). I would definitely use them again in a subsequent pregnancy, knowing they won't cure me, but they do make a substantial difference well worth the cost. I keep them in my purse at all times.
