MagicMousse  will aid in loosening the nit glue, but nothing will kill the nit AND remove it from the hair without using the proper nit comb.

      • Fairy LiceMothers' MagicWand - made of tempered steel. Long metal teeth help drag nits out of the hair using micro-grooving and rounded ends to protect the scalp. MagicWand was tested against all other nit combs and was proven to drag out the most nits. Combing must be done consistently for a minimum of two to threee weeks for complete removal.

Don't be fooled! There is no single product that will kill AND remove a nit. After the very first treatment with Fairy LiceMothers' MagicMousse and MagicWand a non-contagious state will be achieved. However, in order to avoid reinfestation, you must use the MagicWand in conjunction with the MagicHalo Shampoo every day for two to three weeks.

What makes this kit better than any other on the market?
It's easy to kill lice, but impossible to kill nits without the proper nit comb. With the use of Fairy LiceMothers' MagicBox, you will be lice free. Magic Mousse will kill lice. MagicWand will remove nits. MagicHalo Shampoo will help prevent re-infestation.

      Fairy LiceMothers Frequently Asked Questions

      What are head lice?

      • Head lice are tiny insects that live on the scalp.
      • They lay eggs called nits, which stick to hair very close to the scalp.

How do you get head lice?

      • By contact with an already infested person. Contact is common during play at school and at home (slumber parties, sports activities, at camp, on a playground).
      • By wearing infested clothing, such as hats, scarves, coats, sports uniforms, or hair ribbons.
      • By using infested combs, brushes, or towels.
      • By lying on a bed, couch, pillow, carpet, or stuffed animal that has recently been in contact with an infested person.

Can’t I just go to the drugstore and buy a lice removal product?
The products sold in drugstores or prescribed by doctors are called Pediculicide (Nix, Rid, Clear, etc). Pediculicides are the insecticidal shampoos and creme rinses used to treat head lice. These products contain pesticides.

      Problems with Pediculicides
For several years the media, mothers, school nurses, and entomologists have been reporting that many head louse populations have become resistant to the chemicals used to treat them.Fairy LiceMothers will ease your mind and help you get rid of this itchy problem without the use of any chemicals.

      Louse Life Cycle

      Eggs:
Nits are head lice eggs. They are cemented at the base of the hair shaft nearest the scalp. Nits take about 1 week to hatch (range 6 to 9 days)

      Nymphs:
The egg hatches to release a nymph. Nymphs mature after three molts and become adults about 7 days after hatching.

      Adults:
Adult lice can live up to 30 days on a person’s head. A maximum of 6 to 10 nits are laid each day by each female.

      Step 1:
Use Fairy LiceMothers' MagicMousse which is a non-toxic, pesticide-free product proven to eliminate lice and ease the removal of nits (eggs). One bottle, used as directed, is 99% effective in removing head lice and easing nit removal.

      Step 2:
Use Fairy LiceMothers' MagicWand which is made of tempered steel. Long metal teeth help drag nits out of the hair using micro-grooving and rounded ends to protect the scalp. The "micro-grooving" on the teeth consists of microscopic cutting edges that are positioned in a tight spiral form. With thorough combing, these cutting edges, along with the dragging action of the teeth, remove even the tiniest nit. The MagicWand also uses anti-slip bands to allow for better gripping and control.

      Step 3:
Use Fairy LiceMothers' MagicHalo Shampoo which is an environmentally safe, FDA-registered homeopathic head lice remedy. For treating a lice infestation for the first time, use Fairy LiceMothers' MagicMousse and MagicWand. About Fairy LiceMothers

Fairy LiceMothers are dedicated to eliminating the persistent lice problem and educating the community on the use of safe and effective treatments.

We are 3 mothers who started our business in Oceanside, Long Island in early 2008 as an in-home lice removal service. Because of high demand for our quality service, we have now opened up our first lice treatment center located in Oceanside.

We are certified as head lice removal clinicians. We were trained by a non-profit lice research facility that conducts research on lice and lice products.

We use natural and safe products that do not contain any toxic chemicals. Our removal process is the Shepherd Method which is a strand by strand approach to ensure all visible nits are removed. Our prices include 2 follow-up rechecks. This is a crucial step to remain lice free. We remove the infestation during the treatment but going back to the same environment puts you at risk again. We make sure that you remain lice free.

We understand that in this economy people want to spend money wisely. Our goal is to help you get rid of this problem. If you wish to treat yourself, you can buy our products and we walk you through the procedure step by step. We will work with you to eliminate this issue. If you have any questions, feel free to call us anytime.

We also want to educate the community on the real facts of lice. If you would like us to do a presentation for the PTA, community, or any group setting, give us a call. We provide informational seminars at no charge.

We are insured, certified, and confidential.

      We are here to help!
