We prepare our Pau d'Arco Extract from the dried inner bark of purple-flowered Tabebuia impetiginosa trees, which is Custom Wildcrafted™ in the highland jungles of Paraguay.
To assure optimal extraction of Pau d'Arco's bioactive compounds, we use only the inner bark (without phloem) which is hand-harvested and carefully sun-dried by the indigenous Guarani Indians and is then shipped directly to our laboratory for thorough extraction.

Very good product for people with inflamed abdominal problems as it works as an anti-inflamatory, anti-candida, and has been studied to help in certain viral infections...check to make sure that this product is for you. Very beneficial and no-sidefects (just don't take too much, like anything else). I used this particular product as it is made from an inner-bark (very important) and is from a reputable source.
