Omega-3 Fatty Acids - (EPA and DHA from salmon oil) long chain fatty acids, primarily the omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA found in fish oils, constitute 30-35% of nerve cells. These long chain fatty acids maintain the fluidity of nerve cell membranes and ensure healthy functioning of cells in the brain.
Phospholipids - (phosphatidyl choline and phosphatidyl serine from soy lecithin) these phospholipids play an essential role in message transmission and communication between nerve cells in the body. The phosphorous (attached to lipids, hence phospholipids) helps keep nerve cells healthy. Phosphatidyl choline assists in mental recuperation and helps increase mental activity. Phosphatidyl serine is the major phospholipid in the brain and plays an important role in determining the fluidity and integrity of cell membranes. Natural Vitamin E (d-alpha tocopherol) and Zinc antioxidants that neutralize free radicals and 'inactivate' them so they can't damage cells and cause premature cell aging.
Ginko Biloba - 100 mg per capsule (standardized to 2% ginkgosides). well-known for promoting mental alertness by increasing blood circulation to the brain. Ginkgo also has a blood 'thinning' effect and acts as an antioxidant, preventing free radical damage.
