Good Earth® Red Tea or Rooibos (pronounced roy-boss) is the common name for a natural herb unique to South Africa's Cedarberg Mountains. Red Tea was a traditional drink of the indigenous inhabitants of the Western Cape in South Africa. The locals harvested the wild rooibos plants and produced tea that is now enjoyed worldwide for its many uses and benefits. Red Tea contains natural powerful antioxidants. Red tea is naturally caffeine free and is delicious hot or iced.
Good Earth tea bags are individually wrapped for freshness.
Hot Tea: Steep one tea bag in a cup of boiling water for three minutes. Add sweetener if desired.
Iced Tea: Steep 3-4 tea bags 10 minutes in 16 oz. hot water. Add two cups of cold water. Pour over ice.
Red Rooibos, Hibiscus, Natural Flavors (Contains Soy Lecithin), Chicory Root, Rosehips, Cinnamon, Spearmint, Rose Petals, Star Anise, Chamomile, Ginger Root and Nutmeg.
