Nature's Path has been committed to making certified organic food since 1985 because they believe that there is a deep connection between your health and the health of the planet. Nature's Path's heart healthy organic hempseed and oats are grown without synthetic pesticides, herbicides or genetically modified organisms (GMOs). Nature's Path uses no chemical additives or preservatives, so you get only a wholesome energizing breakfast. It is not common knowledge, but hemp seed delivers the highest levels of essential fatty acids of any plant in a ratio exactly suited to the bodies needs. It also contains all 9 of the essential amino acids (proteins) needed to maintain good health, and is easily digested and absorbed by the body, which makes it a perfect vegetarian alternative to meat protein. Hemp is not Marijuana. Industrial hemp produces no significant levels of THC (a psychoactive ingredient). Both George Washington and Thomas Jefferson understood the benefits of hemp, and farmed it extensively.

Organic vs. Natural
While both "natural" and "organic" generally mean no artificial flavors, colors or preservatives, "organic" guarantees that none of those are used, along with no artificial fertilizers, toxic pesticides, irradiation or GMOs. "Natural" claims are voluntary (if not meaningless), while "organic" claims are regulated and third party audited. Organic agriculture is regenerative, supports the environment and protects the family farm. Certified Organic refers to agricultural products that have been grown and processed according to strict uniform standards, verified annually by independent state or private organizations such as Quality Assurance International. The QAI seal is your guarantee that all organic ingredients used by Nature's Path have been third-party certified.
Nature's Path Manifesto
Nature’s Path lives for healthy, great-tasting organic foods. It’s why they get up in the morning. But Nature's Path is also a company that wants to do more than just sell breakfast foods. Nature's Path aspires to advance the cause of people and planet, along the path to sustainability. And Nature's Path likes to think they put their money where their mouth is. Or rather, where their heart is. Because growing organic, healthy foods in a sustainable way is Nature's Path's passion—the cornerstone of their family company. It’s where, and how, it all began.
But Nature's Path also knows that when it comes down to it—no matter what kind of a difference they want to make as a company, and no matter how much you share those values—if Nature's Path's food isn’t delicious and exciting, they’re not living up to their fullest potential.
Healthy foods don’t need to be boring and tasteless. Which is why Nature's Path spends their days and nights dreaming up new recipes, tracking down exotic new ingredients, and researching the latest (or most ancient) superfoods. Nature's Path knows you’ll be pretty impressed when you read their labels. But Nature's Path hopes you’ll be even more impressed when you take your first bite.

About Nature's Path Organic
It has been said, “You are what you eat.” What we eat is directly transformed into blood, bones, skin, muscle and consciousness. So, where does the food we’re eating come from? Nature’s Path believes food, organically grown, is better for you and better for the environment. Organic foods contain no preservatives or additives, and are grown without synthetic pesticides, herbicides or fungicides which agribusiness typically sprays onto our food. These chemicals can then find their way into the soil, water, air and eventually our bodies. Just as eating wholesome organic food helps to make healthy bodies, organic farming helps make healthy soil and a healthy planet.
