This Homedics unit with the microphone in the cuff is 100% accurate all the time. When I first bought it I used my stethoscope in conjunction with it as I did my old monitor. I found every single measurement to be accurate without exception. I now trust it completely and don't use the stethoscope anymore. I highly recommend this product. It is top-of-the-line.

My wife purchased this as a Christmas gift for me. I was recently hospitalized and need an accurate quality blood pressure monitor. I tried it a few times and thought the readings may be higher than my actual numbers had been. When my home health care nurse came by I had her check it the "old fashioned way" and then I put on the cuff and powered my monitor and it was right on!! I have had other Homedics products and they are all first rate quality.
