Jarrow Formulas JarroSil is a synergistic formulation of highly bioavailable silicon. A patent pending Activated Silicon formula, Jarrow Formulas JarroSil contains stabilized molecular clusters of silicic acid, which provide a biologically active form of silicon upon dissolution into liquids.
Jarrow Formulas JarroSil is manufactured in the USA using the latest technology for enhanced bioavailability, stability and improved taste. Stabilized silicic acid is converted to highly bioavailable ortho- and disilicic acids upon dissolution in liquids and in the stomach.
Beautifies Hair, Skin & Nails
JarroSil’s Activated Silicon improves the strength and elasticity of collagen by stimulating collagen production. Stronger collagen means healthier, more elastic skin, and fewer and shallower wrinkles.

I think this product requires long-term use to see benefits and I am still on my first bottle, but have heard great things about silicon so plan to keep using and see what happens with hair/skin/nails. It doesn't taste so great - I take the 10 drops/day with my shake by putting 5 drops on a spoonful of my shake and getting it to the back of my mouth so I can swallow without tasting. Do that 2x and I"m done. It was really pretty nasty at first, but now i"m used to it and it's not bad.

I ACTUALLY PUT A COUPLE DROPS DIRECTLY ON MY SKIN IN ADDITION TO ADDING IT TO WATER & DRINKING. MY SKIN LOOKS REJUVENATED.

Excellent product. It does strengthen your finger nails and they grow at bit faster. It also helps your arthritis if taken in conjunction wtih MSM and chondroitin and glucosamine, and my hair remains thick and strong..

I have taken both the Bio-Sil and the JarroSil over 10 years. Just add it to 4 oz of juice and you won't even taste it. Your hair grows quickly but does not get thicker. Nails are healthy. Wrinkles, well they are still there, but who knows if they would have been worse? Bone density tests have not made enough difference, in my opinion.That's where I am truly disappointed. In 2000 my spine score was -2.7 in 2012 it is -2.8 (worse). My hip score in 2000 was -2.4 and is now -1.8 (better). The total score in 2000 was -2.2 and is now -1.7 and that is an improvement. Overall I still have Osteoporosis in the spine area and Osteopenia in the hip area. So although my hip number got better, I still have to worry about vertebra fractures that cause the spine to collapse and lead to loss of height and stooped posture and hip fractures are still a risk. All this being said, I will continue this product until I find a product that shows better results.

Very high quality product. Don't have a problem with the taste, even taken in water. Am looking forward to the results, as I've only been taking it for less than a month. I have osteoporosis, and hope it will help.
