Eucalyptus Leaf Caffeine Free by Alvita
Alvita Eucalyptus Leaf (Eucalyptus Globulis) Caffeine Free - 24 Tea Bags
One of the largest trees in the world, Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus globulus) can reach heights of over 250 feet. Native to Australia, Eucalyptus can be found in parts of India, Africa, Europe, and the Americas. The Australian aborigines were probably the first to discover the health benefits of Eucalyptus. They also discovered the roots to be an excellent source of water since they hold an astonishing amount of liquid.
Eucalyptus leaves can add interest to potpourris, provide a refreshing ingredient to skin lotion and can also be used in an herbal bath. Eucalyptus leaf oil contains a chemical (Eucalyptol) that gives the herb its pleasant aroma and healing value.

This eucalyptus tea is aromatic and has a heady, almost woody taste which is not exactly pleasant, but I've gotten used to it and am starting to like it. Drinking the hot infusion and breathing in the steam helps clear congestion, and I believe that consuming one cup daily is ameliorating my bad back acne.
I'm giving it four stars instead of five because you can get even fresher, more powerful (dried) eucalyptus leaves if you buy them in bulk from a good supplier. As far as bagged tea goes, I haven't found any better brand of herbal teas than Altavita. I like the simple paper package and paper tea bags that haven't been chlorine treated. The bags are a little fragile, so take care when tearing a pair of two down the perforated line.
