Ultra Laboratories Ultra Botanicals Alpha Lipoic Acid plus Vitamin C 300 mg. - 120 Capsules
Ultra Botanicals Alpha Lipoic Acid plus Vitamin C 300 mg. is a powerful anti-oxidant, uniquely fat and water-soluble. It helps naturally recharge the body's supply of Vitamin C and Vitamin E. Alpha lipoic acid (ALA) is a vitamin-like antioxidant, sometimes referred to as the "universal antioxidant" because it is soluble in both fat and water. ALA is manufactured in the body and is found in some foods, particularly liver and yeast. The body makes small amounts of alpha lipoic acid. There is only limited knowledge about the food sources of this nutrient. However, foods that contain mitochondria (a specialized component of cells), such as red meats, are believed to provide the most alpha lipoic acid.

Say "No" to Magnesium Stearate!
Numerous studies have shown that stearic acid (one of the two components found in magnesium stearate) is toxic! Some of the most alarming research found regarding stearic acid is that it has been shown to be immuno-suppressive! Stearic acid has been confirmed to suppress T-cell function (immune function) in several landmark articles which were published in Biochemistry in 1989 and also in Immunology Magazine in 1990 and 1994. In addition, stearic acid (found in almost EVERY capsule and tablet sold) has been shown in human and animal studies to cause "programmed cell death" (apoptosis) in both heart and nerve tissue as published in both the American Journal of Medical Sciences in 1999 and the Journal of Neurochemistry in 2003.
