BioNutritional Research Group - BNRG Power Crunch High Protein Energy Wafer Cookies & Creme - 1.4 oz.

The Original, and Still the Only High-Protein, Creme-Filled Wafer Energy Bar

Power Crunch is truly the “Next Evolution of the Nutrition Bar." Just like the flagship product Proto Whey, BNRG has created the most unique protein-energy bar available. Unlike all those hard, chewy extruded bars, Power Crunch is a delicious, crème-filled wafer cookie, bursting with Proto Whey protein. Light and crunchy Power Crunch is currently available in 6 delicious flavors for a full spectrum of tastes. Naturally low in sugar and carbohydrates, Power Crunch has a low glycemic response and has no sugar alcohols. And it’s made with Proto Whey 100% pure high-DH hydrolyzed whey protein so you know the protein will absorb swiftly and completely, making Power Crunch an ideal snack choice before or after workouts, in between meals or as a delicious and nutritious dessert. No sugar alcohols in any Power Crunch and now featuring 3 sucralose-free flavors – Triple Chocolate, Peanut Butter Crème and Peanut Butter Fudge.

    Features and Benefits:

High in protein, low in sugar and carbohydrates. Di and tripeptide rich protein (see Proto Whey) allows for rapid and maximum protein absorption.

Tastes Too Good to Be Good for You

With it's crunchy texture and sweet, velvety, protein-rich filling, Power Crunch tastes too good to be good for you. Every time you bite into a Power Crunch protein energy bar, you'll hardly believe it's a protein-packed treat with only five grams of sugar.

    • The original wafer protein energy bar made with real wafers for authentic taste and texture
    • Diabetic and bariatric preferred product
    • Low glycemic response
    • Available in 6 delicious flavors
    • 14 Grams of Protein
    • 5 Grams of Sugar

    Power Crunch Value
Protein only has value if it reaches your cells and tissues. So the only valid way to compare protein prices is to compare the cost per gram of absorbed protein - the amount of protein that is actually absorbed into your bloodstream. Unabsorbed protein is wasted. Power Crunch delivers rapid and complete absorption, so you get the best value for your money.

    Power Crunch Supports Healthy Lifestyles
Now more than ever, it is important to maintain a fit and healthy lifestyle. That's why Power Crunch is fortified with Proto Whey protein - a unique protein that is fully absorbed by the body. Plus, it's low in sugar, and contains zero sugar alcohols.

    Power Crunch & Your Diet
Power Crunch is designed with a healthy diet in mind. It provides the optimum ratio of protein, carbohydrates, and fats for hunger satisfaction and sustained energy flow. Moreover, Power Crunch has one of the lowest glycemic responses of any protein energy bar in the category, so you can have the decadent taste of guilt-free nutrition anytime.

Why is Power Crunch the Smart Choice?
Simply put, no other protein energy bar offers the benefits of Power Crunch. Formulated with Proto Whey protein, Power Crunch is the only product that delivers all of its protein to your body - helping you train longer, go farther, and recover more quickly.

Power Crunch is Great for Kids

To your family, it's a cookie. To you it's a 100% deliciously nutritious energy bar that's high in quality protein, low in sugar, and off the charts in taste. Just pure protein energy that fills you up without dragging you down. And with 6 deliciously indulgent flavors to choose from, you can easily add variety to your workweek.

    FAQ's
Is Power Crunch good for children and seniors?

There are no upper age restrictions on the consumption of Power Crunch. It is an excellent choice for all. Any child 2 years and older that is consuming other solid foods can safely eat Power Crunch. In fact it is by far one of the best snack alternatives for children because it delivers exceptional low carbohydrate, low sugar, high protein nourishment with incredible and genuine cookie taste and texture. Additionally, the Proto Whey protein in Power Crunch is easily and completely digested by young children and seniors.

How many "Net Carbs" are in Power Crunch cookies?
There is no valid science or FDA approval behind the "Net Carb" statements on many products. The true amount of carbs in any product is listed in the Nutrition Facts Panel. With 8-9g of carbs, Power Crunch has by far lower total carbs (50-75% less) than other bars or cookie products on the market including Atkins and other "diet" products. Be sure to read the Nutrition Facts Panel for actual carb content instead of "Net Carb" advertising found elsewhere on the package.

Sugar alcohols lower the "Net Carbs".

Why don't you use sugar alcohol to lower Power Crunch "Net Carbs"?
With the exception of erythritol, which is rarely used due to taste and mouth feel issues, sugar alcohols (maltitol, glycerol, xylitol, mannitol, etc.) provide almost as many calories per gram as any other sugar or carbohydrate and are very hard on the stomach potentially causing gas pains, diarrhea and nausea. "Net Carb" statements are misleading and not accepted by the FDA or any reputable scientist due to this fact. Artificial sweeteners are the only sweeteners which are not carbohydrates and are actually calorie-free.

Why do some nutritional bars in the same general price class as Power Crunch contain more protein for about the same price?
Due to the di and tripeptide content of 100% pure high-DH hydrolysates in Proto Whey, the source of protein in Power Crunch, the relative nutritional value of protein in Power Crunch equates to up to double or triple that in other products.

Is Power Crunch a good choice for diabetics?
Any person with diabetes should always consult their physician or health professional before consuming any product with carbohydrate content. Power Crunch is used preferentially by many diabetics due to the lower total carbohydrate and very low sugar content and the known positive effect of whey protein hydrolysates in their diet.

How many Weight Watchers points are in a Power Crunch cookie?
    4 points.

I had tried both the cookies and cream and wild berry cream Power Crunch bars at the gym and they were delicious. Not only are they low in carbs and a good source of protein they taste great and really filled me up. I keep a case of the Power Crunch bars in my refrigerator at all times. They taste better cold and are the perfect quick bite to eat as a meal replacement or before a good workout.

    I RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!
