About Dandy Blend
Dr. Peter Gail, a PH.D. ethnobotanist, has spent 47 years studying how various cultures use backyard weeds for food and medicine. His research revealed that dandelion is one of the most popular vegetables in the world, and is also a highly respected medicinal herb.
He founded Goosefoot Acres in 1988 to share his finding more broadly through his books, articles, and presentations. To make the health-promoting virtues of dandelion more readily available, he adapted a two-century-old Austrian herbalist's beverage into Dandy Blend Instant Herbal Beverage with Dandelion, Which is the easiest way to incorporate dandelion into the diet.
Today, Goosefoot Acres manufactures and distributes Dandy Blend Instant Herbal Beverage with Dandelions to health practitioners, health and natural food stores, and individuals.
