Helen's Asian Table Tea Pots in green are a beautiful collection! Each Helen's Asian Teapot is handmade in celadon crackle glaze. From the ancient tradition of Vietnamese ceramics comes this collection of handmade crackle glazed celadon teapots. The subtle crackling of the glaze gives a distinctive texture to the soft colors of tea green. Each piece is available in a rich jade green. The teapots feature built-in strainer holes, designed to hold tea leaves inside the pot as the strained tea is poured out through the spout. (For very fine tea leaves, you may additionally wish to use a mesh strainer.) The striking black teapot handles are crafted from hammered iron.

Suggested Use
To brew your favorite loose or bagged tea, place tea into the teapot and pour boiling water over the tea. Cover the teapot and allow the tea to steep for approximately 1 to 3 minutes, depending on the type of tea. When the tea is ready, pour it out through the built in strainer holes. The teapot should be totally emptied so that no liquid will sit in the pot with the leaves and over brew resulting in bitter tasting tea. Used tea leaves may be used again for a second or third infusion. Different teas require different water temperatures and brewing times, so follow the brewing directions that come with your tea.
