Suggested Use
Basic Way: Take two capsules three times a day.

Ginger (root) - Rhizoma Zingiberis Officinalis Recens (sheng jiang)

White peony (root) - Radix Paeonia Lactiflorae (bai shao)
Sichuan lovage (root) - Radix Ligustici Chuanxiong (chuan xiong)

Other Ingredients: There is a cornstarch excipient that is used to bind the formula together. It is a very, very small amount. The gelatin capsules are bovine from the hoof of the cow. The powder versions of the formulas are vegetarian.

I just had to write and tell you that your Cold Snap formula is marvelous. I've taken this herb for a cold I kept getting back all winter and I'll tell you it kicked it out by the next day. Also, I've taken it in combination with Aloe Gel caps and my food allergies are about 70% better. I plan on continuing this herb and will tell other people about it. Over the years I have experiemented with many herbs and find this one quite fascinating.

Anytime that I feel a cold coming on I have several cups of Cold Snap and, miraculously, I do not come down with it. I feel very fortunate to have this product available as I see patients all day who often have cold and flu symptoms. I¿m sure that without Cold Snap I would miss many days of work. I discovered Cold Snap while I was on vacation in a resort and became ill with the exact same symptoms the second year in a row. Someone gave me Cold Snap and I was able to compare the two illnesses. With Cold Snap, though I didn't overcome all of the symptoms, I had the energy I needed to enjoy my day and participate in activities. I was not exhausted at the end of the day either. Without Cold Snap I was in bed the whole time and any little exertion put me back in bed for hours. That was about 5 years ago. I take Cold Snap daily and up the dose when I feel a sickness coming on. I don't think of it as actually a cure for the common cold or anything like that, but it does allow you to keep your energy up during periods of illness.
