ALKALOL is a scientifically balanced solution that includes purified water, a unique blend of alkaline and saline salts, and a refreshing mix of natural extracts and essential oils, including menthol, eucalyptol, thymol, camphor, benzoin, wintergreen, spearmint, pine, and cinnamon. Preservative free and hypertonic (the type of saline recommended in many recent medical studies), ALKALOL�s original formula helps provide soothing relief from a variety of common nose and throat maladies. Using ALKALOL with the ALKALOL NASAL WASH CUP is a quick, easy, and effective way to gently wash and cleanse the nasal passages. Suggested Use

Alkalol should be used from 1/2 to full strength-preferably warm. Nose: Use in a douche cup or an atomizer. Throat: Use as a gargle or a spray. Apply Alkalol freely on cotton or gauze for appropriate use in treating sunburn, and minor burns.

THE ALKALOL COMPANY WAS FOUNDED IN 1896 BY PHARMACIST JAMES P. WHITTERS, WHO DEVELOPED THE ORIGINAL FORMULA IN A SMALL LABORATORY ABOVE THE A.J. BARKER PHARMACY IN TAUNTON, MASSACHUSETTS. AT THE TIME, NOSE AND THROAT SPECIALISTS WORRIED THAT EXISTING PRODUCTS USED TO TREAT THE NASAL PASSAGES CONTAINED TOO MUCH ALCOHOL AND GLYCERIN, AND THAT THESE INGREDIENTS DAMAGED THE DELICATE MUCOUS MEMBRANES IN THE NOSE AND SINUS. THE ALKALOL COMPANY WAS INCORPORATED IN MASSACHUSETTS IN 1907 AND BY THE EARLY 20TH CENTURY ALKALOL WAS SOLD THROUGHOUT THE UNITED STATES AND ABROAD.

This is the BEST nasal wash stuff out there! I have been suffering with a sinus infection and this stuff lets me breathe through my nose. I dilute mine with water and use it in a neti bottle. It was too strong for me just straight out of the bottle. It burned when I used it with the wash cup, but diluting it with the saline water I use in my neti bottle makes it easier for me to use. So, if you try it and it burns just dilute it. Works great!

I have not had a cold, allergy attack or sinus infection since using Alkalol. I use it as a nasal wash and also mouthwash and gargle. It is the BEST !!!

My mom's doctor recommended this product to her for her allergies. I was very skeptical because I'd tried other nasal washes without success. However, this is the best product I've ever used for my allergies. For the first time in years, I can breathe through my nose. I'd still be suffering without this awesome product. This is most effective using the Alkalol nasal wash "cup". Now this is the ONLY product I use for my allergies-- no medications any more. This works!
