Ointment/Gel: Adults, children and infants: Apply generously to affected areas 2 to 3 times daily. Traumeel should be rubbed gently into the skin. Traumeel may be applied using mild compression bandaging and/or occlusive bandaging. 7/22/08 By DANA Traumeel is amazing stuff. I have a bad back, and it really helps with the muscle soreness and pain. It also gets rid of bruises really fast (within 3 days in my experience). It even prevents bruising -- I smacked myself really hard on something and knew it would bruise, so I put Traumeel on it right away a couple times a day and all I got was a very slight yellowing that I could hardly see. And even better, it barely hurt. The only drawback I can see to the ointment is that if I use it on my shoulders, it makes my hair greasy, but I tried the Traumeel Gel (same homeopathic ingredients) on my shoulders, and it works just as well but doesn't make my hair greasy. I find the gel a little harder to work with, so I buy the ointment for most uses though.

Being an avid although slow cyclist at my age, I am constantly getting minor bruises and being clutzy I am constantly getting not so minor bruises. I keep traumeel in my bike paniers, my purse, my truck, at my office and of course in my medicine cabinet. It will almost instantly negate injuries that might cause severe or minor bruising if applied immediately. If you use it later, it will definitely reduce the time the bruise is around and help reduce the painfulness. This is a magic product. Everyone I have introduced it to has wondered how it is they didn't know about it.
