Country Life L-Glutamine is the most abundant, naturally occurring, non-essential amino acid in the human body and one of the few amino acids which directly crosses the blood-brain barrier. L-Glutamine is a primary source of fuel for cells lining the inside of the small intestine and an alternative fuel source for the brain. In addition, it is a precursor for rapidly dividing immune cells. L-Glutamine also tends to have a major role in protein synthesis and acts as the acid-base regulation in the kidney through its production of ammonium. Glutamine can be found in abundance in the skeletal muscle as well as in blood. Country Life L-Glutamine w/ B-6 is hypoallergenic, vegetarian, and kosher. L- B-6 aids in the utilization of Glutamine.
Suggested Use
Adults take one (1) capsule daily betweeen meals.
