Super Calcium-Magnesium contains 1200 mg Calcium with other nutrients that help with calcium metabolism such as 400 mg Magnesium, 800 IU Vitamin D and 3 mg Boron per serving.
Calcium is vital for building strong bones and teeth, muscle function, release of hormones and enzymes, and assists nerves in transmitting impulses.
Magnesium is a mineral that is needed for over 100 enzymatic reactions in the body, including those for nerve and muscle function, regulation of body temperature, energy metabolism, and DNA and RNA synthesis.
Magnesium also improves calcium absorption. Magnesium plays important roles in cardiovascular health, mood, maintenance of bone mass, and health of all tissues.
Vitamin D regulates the absorption of calcium and phosphorus and helps form tooth and bone. Schiff® Super Calcium-Magnesium provides 800 IU Vitamin D per serving for better calcium absorption.
Adequate calcium and Vitamin D throughout life, as part of a well-balanced diet, may reduce the risk of osteoporosis. Adequate Calcium intake is important, but daily intakes above 2,000 mg are not likely to provide any additional benefit.
Suggested Use
