About Body Tools
BODYTOOLS TRULY HAS HAD HUMBLE BEGINNINGS. BODYTOOLS BEGAN IN 1982 OUT OF THE TRUNK OF AN ORANGE VOLKSWAGEN IN VENICE BEACH SELLING MASSAGE TABLES TO THE LOCAL PEOPLE. LATER, THE OPERATIONS MOVED TO A NEARBY VAN NUYS CALIFORNIAN HOME. KENNY AND JULIE, THE OWNERS TRAVELED EXTENSIVELY ALL OVER THE COUNTRY BEING ON THE ROAD FOR WEEKS AT A TIME VISITING STORES AND GOING TO TRADESHOWS BUILDING THE BUSINESS. BUYERS WOULD VISIT THE TRADESHOWS TO PURCHASE A SLOWLY GROWING LINE OF MASSAGE AND BODY TOOLS. AROUND 1987 THEY OPENED A STOREFRONT WHERE THE BODYTOOLS OPERATIONS GREW. IN 1999, BODYTOOLS MOVED TO NORTHERN CALIFORNIA TO NOVATO WITH A WHOLESALE WAREHOUSE.
