SoyJoy - All Natural Baked Whole Soy & Fruit Bar Cranberry - 1.05 oz. (30g)

Nothing but natural ingredients are crammed into SoyJoy All Natural Baked Whole Soy & Fruit Bar Cranberry. Real cranberries and whole soy are simply baked together with other all-natural ingredients to deliver big flavor in a healthy package. Keep your joy going the nutritious and delicious way, anytime, anywhere.

    What is Whole Soy?
Not to be confused with soy protein isolate. It may be a small bean, but there are big differences when it comes to the various types of soy extract and whole soy.  Most people are familiar with soy but are surprised to hear that it usually loses some of its nutrient content during the process of becoming a soy product. That’s because in most soy foods, only part of the bean is extracted and used. With whole soy, however, the whole bean is used. Nothing is discarded, which means that whole soy retains all of soy’s natural nutrients.

    Edamame
Commonly found in Japanese restaurants, edamame is another name for green, immature soybeans. Edamame is a good source of calcium, folate and potassium.

    Soymilk
You’ve probably seen soymilk at the grocery store. To make soymilk, soybeans are soaked, ground fine and then strained, producing a fluid called soymilk. While soymilk retains many of the soybeans nutrients, it does not contain the fiber from the soybeans.

    Tofu
Tofu, also known as soybean curd, is a soft, cheese-like food made from soymilk. Fresh, hot soymilk is curdled with a coagulant, then cut to shape. Like soymilk, tofu uses only part of the soybean, and therefore loses the soybean’s fiber in the process.

    Whole soy
Whole soybeans grow in pods on stalks that are about waist-high. They start out green (see edamame), but as they fully mature, they shrink in size and turn a golden color. It’s at this point that they are richest in protein and fiber. That’s why SOYJOY use only mature, whole soybeans instead of soy extract to make SOYJOY. It’s full of nutrients like protein, fiber and iron, and is rich in antioxidants and minerals. In fact, SOYJOY is one of the few food items that uses whole soy.

    SOYJOY Process
From the plants in the ground where they get their whole soy to plant where SoyJoy is packaged - and every step in between, this is SOYJOY process.

    1. The soybeans SOYJOY pick are Non-GMO and grown here in the United States.
    2. SOYJOY takes the whole soybeans, toast them and grind them into flour.
    3. All the raw ingredients are accurately weighed.
    4. All the necessary ingredients are mixed in a mixer. Each flavor has its own mixing time and speed.
    5. After it's mixed, the dough goes through the forming machine. It's formed to make long, think noodles.
    6. The long noodles of dough are cut into shape.
    7. The cut bars pass through an oven to bake.
    8. The baked bars are transferred onto spiral conveyors to cool down over time.
    9. In order to maintain flavor and freshness, the bars are individually wrapped as soon as they cool down.
    10. Only product that have passed strict quality testing are released and shipped for you to enjoy!

    Helth Benefits of SOYJOY
Every SOYJOY bar begins with high-quality, non-genetically modified whole soybeans. Unlike other soy products that use highly processed soy protein isolates, the whole soy ground into every SOYJOY bar keeps the rich fiber and heart-healthy soy nutrients intact.

Whole soy is packed full of antioxidant isoflavones, high-quality protein, vitamins, minerals, polyunsaturated fatty acids, fiber, and all nine amino acids essential to human nutrition. Plus, whole soy is low in saturated fat and cholesterol free. All those healthy sounding terms mean that soy, a superfood, is a smart choice for your body.

The many nutrients packed into a small soybean help promote healthy hearts, bones and bodies. Whole soy has got a leg up on other legumes when it comes to health.
