Ultimate Organic Whole Grain & Oatmeal by Farm to Table

Farm To Table - Ultimate Organic Whole Grain & Oatmeal - 21 oz (595g)

Farm To Table Ultimate Organic Whole Grain & Oatmeal is made with organic steel cut oats, whole grains, flax seed, and almonds.  Made of the highest quality sustainably produced organic grains, seeds and almonds, this sublime mixture incorporates just the right blend of slow and quick cooking ingredients to make for a delightfully creamy underlying texture and a hearty, nutty taste. One spoonful and you'll agree. This is the Ultimate!

If you were to dream up the perfect bowl of oatmeal, would it be just plain old rolled oats? Or would it be chock full of all sorts of delicious, nutritious stuff? Like maybe organic almonds? Or heritage grains like spelt and rye?  Maybe you’d add sunflower seeds for a toothy texture and a protein boost.  Or perhaps you’d use steel cut oats as a foundation grain to hold it all together. Heck, it’s your dream, you can do whatever you want. It was Farm To Table's dream too, and you know what they did? They made it a reality.

Real Farmers vs. Agri-business
Real farmers produce food nurtured using sustainable biological models.  Agri-business uses chemical fertilizers to produce greater crop yields.  Real farmers invest in their soil, their environment, and their communities.  Agri-business coaxes as much as it can from a harvest by whatever means necessary.  Real farmers share earth's gifts to nurture humanity.

The Marvels of Oatmeal

Since the advent of agriculture some 12,000 odd years ago, mankind has been turning grain into porridge. It’s one of the purest, tastiest and most nutritious ways to enjoy what mother earth has to offer. As a company, Farm To Table believes that excessive processing is antithetical to what good food should be. By returning to less processed methods, utilizing recipes that bring out the natural goodness of each individual variety of grain in their “oatmeal,” and mixing grain with nuts, seeds or fruit for an irresistible taste and texture, Farm To Table has been able to create products that have introduced people to what real food should taste like. The way they see it, a hearty bowl of delicious oatmeal allows a person to enjoy earth’s bounty in its most elemental form. And for people looking to get back to food basics, what could be better?

A Good Food Movement

Farm To Table has found countless exciting product examples out there that promise a brighter future for our global community. But they’ve also noticed that much of what masquerades as “good food” is really the same old conventionally produced fare repackaged and reintroduced to an unsuspecting public. Farm To Table wants to declare their participation in the good food movement, that small but determined group of farmers, businesspeople, chefs, artisans, foodies and concerned citizens that have been making strides toward purifying the food supply by critically following it from it’s beginnings at the farm to it’s final destination at your table. (In fact that’s why they call themselves Farm to Table). At Farm to Table, they’re tremendously excited about this fresh way of thinking about food. Their goals are no less ambitious than getting the public to demand food brands they can trust and a food system that answers to the consumer instead of the stockholder.

Integrity

Farm to Table will not compromise its integrity. In a perfect world, people all over the country would be able to enjoy the bounty of their products. However, if expansion means neglecting their commitment toward the finest ingredients, or that they can’t afford to create products that meet big box store pricing strategies, so be it. They won’t be there. If necessary, they’ll remain a niche product for the select few who insist on top quality ingredients and a gourmet offering. But at the same time, they’ve noticed an interesting phenomenon. When people sample what oatmeal should taste like, they begin to demand it. And by raising the bar, they realize that they are also changing people’s expectations. And that’s a good thing. Because in Farm To Table's minds, their customers should expect more. They deserve it.
