About Nourish
Nourish is the first personal care line of products certified to the USDA National Organic Program (NOP) at 95-100%; the original line was launched in Fall, 2004. The line was revised and re-launched in June, 2008. Some NEW, Some Improved--even better than before! We are guided by centuries-old wisdom integrating many cultures, and their experiences regarding the benefits of herbs, fruits, flowers, vegetables, and grains----organic foods, which nourish the skin. Formulas promote radiant, healthy skin and support healthy lifestyles. Simply, products are foods for your skin. Nourish products proudly display the USDA organic seal and contain NO CHEMICALS---ABSOLUTELY NONE! The USDA seal is your only assurance that products which claim to be organic, really are according to the strict standards of the USDA’s National Organic Program (NOP).
Imagine products without chemicals... Who says that body washes have to be clear or pastel-colored or have to smell like real botanicals don‘t? We do not use any artificial colors, fragrances, or preservatives. These products are the “real deal”. Try finding personal care without chemicals; “they” say it can’t be done. We said that we could make products without chemicals and did; it was not easy but we did it! Sure, Nourish products are not like other personal care products with chemicals but who wants them to be anyway? It is the chemicals which dry or irritate skin, making skin even more sensitive than it is. Your skin is no more cleansed by using a clear shower gel versus one naturally colored? The products perform and do what we say they will. Honestly organic. These products do not need chemicals to be effective. Try them, use them and please tell us what you think. Expect them to be the purest personal care products you could ever use. Organic is really about connection: nature, personal health and the environment. Just be sure if you want organic, that it really, truly is.

Organic Deodorant by Nourish Nourish - Organic Deodorant Wild Berries - 2.2 oz. (62g)
Nourish Organic Deodorant Wild Berries is lightly scented with organic raspberry, strawberry and currant, this blend of naturally deodorizing cornstarch and vegetable protein, soothing shea and cocoa butters, beeswax, and coconut oil leaves you feeling fresh all day, every day.
Corn, What is it? A fine, extremely gentle exfoliant made from ground natural corn cobs. Where it comes from? Their corn cob grits start as corn grown on American farms, mostly in the Midwest.
Why it's good for you:
Coconut Oil, What is it? The milky liquid that comes from pressing the freshly grated meat of ripe coconuts. Its farily high fat content makes it an exceptional skin moisturizer and softener. Cocoa, What is it?
The bean or seed of the cocoa tree (Themobroma cacao). Although most widely loved for its yummy flavor and mood-boosting abilities, cocoa also contains vital nutrients that are wonderfully beneficial to skin. Where it comes from? Cocoa beans come from trees grown mainly in hot, rainy, equatorial regions of the world. A delicate crop, it grows largely in the shelter of larger trees and doesn't usually bear fruit until its fifth year.
Why it's good for you:
-
Rich in polyphenols, cocoa has remarkable anti-aging properties
-
Contains antioxidants that fight free radicals

The extraction and production of shea butter is an important income source for many of the people in West Africa—so much so that it is sometimes referred to as "women's gold."
Why it's good for you:
- Deeply moisturizes even the driest skin
- Soothes and smoothes rough spots

Giving Back As citizens of the world, they believe it’s important to give back when and where they can, especially to their community and to what they believe to be some of the world’s most important causes. They work closely with and contribute to a number of organizations and charities including The Women’s Center, Association for the Blind, City Rescue Mission, Meals on Wheels, and the Salvation Army. They support local sports teams, schools, and Big Brothers/Big Sisters, and regularly donate their surplus materials and products to World Vision. We’re particularly proud of their donations to overseas U.S. military personnel, and of our efforts to provide aid to the victims of the 2010 earthquake in Haiti.
Why Organics They’re Better For You … What goes on your skin ultimately gets absorbed into your system. That’s why they believe that you shouldn’t put anything on your body that you wouldn’t put into your mouth, and for them that means food-grade, 100% USDA-certified organic ingredients and nothing more. That said, they are proud to have been the first company in the world to develop USDA-certified organic beauty products that are made with only nutrient-rich fruits, vegetables, and plant extracts.
No parabens. No phthalates. No sulfates, petrochemicals, synthetic dyes or silicones. No propylene glycol, mineral oils, synthetic dyes, tricolsan, EDTA or aluminum. And absolutely no artificial fragrances or preservatives. Period. They’re Better for the Earth … Because our ingredients support organic agriculture and are sourced from organic farmers, you can rest assured that no pesticides or herbicides are being used, and that sound land stewardship is always taking place. And They’re Only the Beginning.
Their commitment to the planet starts with their use of 100% organic ingredients, and continues throughout every facet of their business. All of their packaging is made with at least 25% post-consumer recycled content. All of their products are cruelty free and never tested on animals. Nearly all of their products are vegan (excluding those that contain beeswax), and their manufacturing facility uses as much renewable energy as possible, even going so far as to store all of their products in a local underground warehouse that uses the earth’s natural ambient temperature and humidity to preserve and protect.

I was so excited for this because it's organic and smelled like wild berries. Unfortunately, this is a horrible product. It has a bumpy surface that scrapes my armpits with I apply it and as a deodorant, it doesn't work. I always use all natural deodorants, so I'm not new to the trial and error aspect of finding one that works for you, but this honestly did nothing. The scent is very mild and not very noticeable. Big disappointment.

Works very well for an organic deodorant. The Wild Berry smell is way better than the Almond. The only thing I dislike is if the deodorant is warm before you apply it, it doesn't leave a thin film, it leaves muck in your armpits-- so keep it in a cool place.
