Youtheory Collagen Enhanced Formula Type 1 and 3 contains 18 amino acids. Collagen is our body's key structural protein involved in creating strong and healthy nails, hair, tendons, bones, muscle, and keeping our skin smooth. During our youth, collagen helps prevent wrinkles from forming, gives skin elasticity, helps create strong and thicker hair. In our early 20's collagen diminishes by about 1% per year. By the age of 30, the signs of collagen reduction have started to become visible. The reduction in bones and joints begins to be felt. Collagen 1 & 3 are the main collagen types in connective tissue. Collagen Type 2 is a significant part of your body's cartilage with naturally occurring hyaluronic acid for joint cushioning and lubrication. Hyaluronic acid and collagen are vital structural components of the skin. Chondroitin sulfate, also naturally occurring, may provide anti-inflammatory support.

I gave it a 4 because it doors seem like it works well, although it kind of tastes like feet plus you need to take 6 of these large pills. Although, in defense of the product i think all collagen pills taste the same and require as many. Good thing is that the recommended amount is divided to twice a day.

I have MS and the medicines I have to take are not friendly to my skin. Collagen Advanced Formula type 1,2,3 , has really, really helped. My skin feels and looks much better.

have not been on for long but know someone that had two knee surgeries who has freedom of movement and seldom pain. so this will be long term usage for me

My knees have no cartilage left -- bone on bone. I take Collagen and several other products designed to help build cushioning in joints. The combination seems to be helping! At one time, I could buy collagen at Costco, but it disappeared from their shelves. I was delighted to find a similar product with you.
