The Science Behind Endurox Excel

The primary ingredient in Endurox Excel is adaptogenic herb, ciwujia. Adaptogens have been show to have remarkable effects in bolstering the immune system in improving endurance. Two peer-reviewed studies provided strong confirmation of the benefits of Endurox Excel in individuals who exercise frequently. In a study presented at the American College of Sports Medicine's annual meeting, researchers showed that after 28 days of ciwujia treatment there was a significant increase in endurance in long distance runners as well as an increase in fat metabolism.

A second study measured the effect of eight weeks of supplementation with ciwujia in cyclists. The researchers found that ciwujia increased VO2 peak by 12% and improved endurance performance by 23%. What Allergens are Present in Pacific Health's Products?
ACCELERADE, ACCELERADE HYDRO, and ENDUROX R4 contain milk and soy. ACCEL GEL contains milk. Each of these products are manufactured in a facility that processes eggs, wheat, tree nuts, fish, crustaceans and shellfish products.

Are Pacific Health's Products Wheat/Gluten Free?
Pacific Health does not make gluten-free claims on any of their products, because Pacific Health's products are not manufactured on allergen-free production lines. Their recommendation, if you have a gluten sensitive allergy, would be to check with your physician for guidance.

I have a corn allergy, are any of Pacific Health's products free of corn and corn derivatives?
No, Pacific Health's products are not free of corn and corn derivatives. Maltodextrin, which is in Accelerade, Hydro, Accel Gel, Endurox R4, and Accel Recover, is made from corn. Pacific Health's 2nd Surge and Endurox Excel does not contain Maltodextrin, so these products would be safe.

I am Lactose Intolerant; Can I Use Pacific Health's Products?
The source of protein used in ACCLERADE, ACCELERADE HYDRO, ACCEL GEL and ENDUROX R4 is all natural whey protein from milk and this protein source does carry a residual amount of lactose in the finished product. The maximum lactose content is <2%, which may not be of concern to the vast majority of individuals who are lactose intolerant. However, if there is concern due to allergy or lactose intolerance they recommend consulting your physician.

I have Type II diabetes and am looking for a safe workout drink.
All of Pacific Health's products are safe for people who have type II diabetes as long as you are exercising within a short time of consuming the product. Exercise will result in a faster transport of carbohydrate (sugar) into the muscle.

Are Pacific Health's Products Safe For Children Under The Age of 18?
Yes, all of Pacific Health's products are safe for children. For basic hydration needs they recommend Accelerade or Accelerade Hydro. For advanced recovery needs, Pacific Health recommends Endurox R4. If Pacific Health's child weighs less than 120 lbs. They recommend reducing the serving of Endurox R4 to 1 scoop.

Are Pacific Health's Products Approved by WADA and for NCAA Use?
