They make maximum use of ingredients from Earth’s plant sources…from rich vegetable and nut oils to pure plant waxes to herbal extracts and pure essential oils.
Alba Botanical products contain no meat or by-products of animal killing. They also reject all cruelly obtained animal ingredients, even if an animal is not killed. They limit their use of animal products to ingredients that are naturally created by and have no future use to the animal such as beeswax.
Alba Botanica products are formulated without: parabens, phthalates, artificial colors, propylene glycol, aluminum, mineral oil, petrolatum, oxybenzone, PABA, nano-particles, DEA, MEA or TEA, PEGs and PEG derivatives, ethoxylated ingredients associated with 1,4 dioxane, formaldehyde donors, or GMOs.

Q: Does Alba Botanicals test their products on animals?
A: Of course not! They share the concern that animals not be used to test cosmetics, toiletries and household products. They do not test their products or ingredients on animals, nor do they ask others to do so for them. Furthermore, they require that all our ingredient suppliers meet the same criteria of no animal testing.
Q: What does it mean that Alba Botanical products contain 100% vegetarian ingredients?
A: They love furry (and feathered and scaley and buggy) friends. For this reason, they never test their products or ingredients on animals. In addition, their products contain no meat or by-products of animal killing. They also exclude all cruelly obtained animal ingredients, even if the animal is not killed. Suggested Use
Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating, after towel drying and at least every 2 hours. Children under 6 months, ask a doctor. I use this sunscreen to spray on my hair and rub into my scalp. Great protection, but a little creamy for a spray.

I like the spray delivery system of this sunscreen, but it is very hard to close the sprayer! It ended up ruining my son's back pack!
