For any hair styling product, the most important ingredient is the holding agent. They form a layer of clear invisible film to hold the hair in place. In conventional hair styling products, synthetic plastics such as PVP (polyvinyl pyrrolidone polymer), acrylic copolymers, VA (vinyl acetate) polymer and acrylamide polymer, have been commonly used as this key ingredient.
