How long will an Edible Chew last?
Edibles are "treat" bones. They are meant to be consumed, and are therefore not long lasting chews. Their "lifespan" depends on how determined a chewer your dog is. Edible chews have a shelf life of over five years.

It is important that you get to know a dog's chewing style and to select the appropriate type of chew and the proper size and formulation based on a dog's age, breed, chewing style and weight. The pressure exerted by a dog's jaw can put tremendous stress on their teeth. These sizes are guidelines: If your dog is between sizes or is especially powerful, Nylabone recommends choosing a larger size-large enough to encourage chewing from the side, rather than from top to bottom.
