    PeaceKeeper Cause-Metics Lip Gloss Kindness 0.24 g (7.0 g)

PeaceKeeper Cause-Metics Lip Gloss Kindness earthy brown mocha, sheer, with a subtle shine and looks great on dirty blondes or anybody looking to 'get back to nature'. Use it on its own for a subtly brighter smile, or over lipstick for extra shine. However you use it, it looks good on women the world over! These Eco-Sheer Natural Mineral Lip Glosses are creamy, light, rich, moist, yummy...and an easy way to be charitable! Rated only a 2 (low hazard) out of 10 (hazardous) by the Environmental Working Group's "Skin Deep" rating system, this is a sensual, natural lip gloss you can love.

What products are NOT vegan, and why?
Unfortunately PeaceKeeper Lip Glosses, Lip Paints, “Perfect As Is” Lip Balm, and the nail paint “Paint Me Stunning” are NOT VEGAN due to the use of Carmine as a colorant. Carmine is a red dye made from crushed insect scales and is the only red color alternative to FD&C coloring, so PeaceKeeper feels it is the better alternative.

Since nature does not make a “real” fire-engine red, you will not find reds of those tones in this line. Fire-engine reds are made with FD&C coloring and are synthetic. PeaceKeeper uses minerals from the earth for coloring like Mica, Titanium Oxide and Ultramarines. They do however use Carmine (a pigment derived from carminic acid from the scales of certain insects) in Paint Me Stunning so if you are a vegan stay away from this color. ALL of Peace Keeper's other nail colors are VEGAN!

    Are PeaceKeeper products Wheat/Gluten free?
Yes, Peacekeeper products are gluten and wheat-free because the Vitamin E used is derived from Soy.

Are your products safe for people suffering from Celiac Disease?
Celiac disease is a digestive disease that damages the small intestine and interferes with absorption of nutrients from food. People who have celiac disease cannot tolerate gluten, a protein in wheat, rye, and barley. While Peacekeeper products are wheat/gluten free because the Vitamin E we use is derived from soy, it’s best for you to consult with your doctor if you have any condition that might cause an allergic reaction. All PeaceKeeper Cause-Metics are made in a facility where there is no gluten used so there is no risk of cross-contamination.

Are your nail paints safe for children and pregnant women?
PeaceKeeper nail paints are some of the best in the industry, and are rated only a 4 (low moderate hazard) out of 10 (hazardous) by the environmental working group's 'skin deep' rating system. PeaceKeeper feels their nail paints are the best and most natural for anyone to use but advise that you should consult your doctor if you have concerns.

How should I dispose of my old nail polish?
While PeaceKeeper nail polishes are free of the ingredients that make most polishes “toxic” (like Phthalates, Acetone, FD&C Coloring, etc.) it’s best for you and Planet Earth if they are disposed of as a toxic material according to your state and local laws.

Do PeaceKeeper products have expiration dates?
PeaceKeeper doesn’t currently print expiration dates on their products but do advise that their Lip products are good for up to 2 years and Nail paints are good for up to 1 year.

PeaceKeeper prides itself on its slogan "No Nasty Anything!" and is dedicated to creating cosmetics using non-toxic ingredients that will keep your body safe and healthy. They also have many vegan-friendly products, and are now ranked as one of the safest cosmetics lines in America.

Here are the ideals that they pledge to uphold in their business practices:

    1. Slavery-free labor: PeaceKeeper is building a slave-labor free company, so if they believe there to be any exploitation in hours, safety, or health-care and retirement benefits, they are out.
    2. Fair wages: PeaceKeeper makes sure that the companies they are working with, here and overseas, pay a fair wage to their employees.

If they practice not hoarding or stealing, people will feel so safe around them that they will reveal unimaginable treasures. Like the Buddhist monks who can safely walk through a battlefield, you can face each day unaffected by the negativity in the world. Now that's powerful!

As a company, PeaceKeeper strives to promote promote greater peace throughout the world by the practice of these traditional concepts. You can help achieve success by practicing truthfulness, non-stealing, and non-violence in your own everyday lives!

PeaceKeeper Cause-Metics is the first cosmetics company to give donations to women’s urgent human rights issues. Just by buying a few products, you can become a PeaceKeeper too! If everyone works together--the women and men who buy their products, the buyers who bring PeaceKeeper into their stores, the people who write about Peacekeeper in the press--everyone can look back in 20 years and know that millions of dollars were raised to help lift up women and children in desperate need--together.
