About St. Dalfour
St. Dalfour is a privately owned family company under the same ownership since its founding in 1984. The St. Dalfour production facility is located in the Aquitaine region of Southwest France, an area known for centuries of culinary excellence as well as the famous wines of Bordeaux. St. Dalfour Fruit Spreads, made from natural fruits and free of any preservatives or added sugar, are delivered from our production facility to 120 countries.
St. Dalfour is the first company to have applied special concentrated grape juice from which the aroma and flavor was removed during the jam production, which made it possible to produce naturally sweet 100% jam without added sugar. This method has its origin with the grandmother of Mr. Kistner, the president of St. Dalfour. During the First World War, sugar was very limited in supply and quite expensive. Because the Kistner family owned vineyards and had access to extensive supply of grapes, Mr. Kistner’s grandmother made jam with concentrated grape juice instead of sugar. This is the origin of the world renowned St. Dalfour fruit conserve recipe.

St. Dalfour Organic Tea
The St. Dalfour tea experts have searched the best tea producing areas in the world which are located in the Himalayas of India and the high ground of Ceylon. After careful screening, they have selected special pristine tea gardens where no preservatives or chemicals are used. In these gardens master planters nurture tea bushes with natuarl organic biomass and loving care. Only these tea gardens are used for St. Dalfour tea.
Since tea is made directly from tea leaves plucked on a continuous basis during harvest (and these tea leaves are not washed), it is vitally important to make certain these leaves are free of any chemicals. Be confident of having pure, wholesome tea when buying St. Dalfour.
Organic Certification
St. Dalfour Strawberry Tea is certified for all natural, organic and pure production in accord with the EEC Regulation 834/2007 and the production and handling requirements of the National Organic Program by the I.M.O. (Institut für Marktökologie Institut D'Ecocommerce) of Switzerland, and International Organic Certification Group.
Suggested Use
- Each tea bag is individually sealed in envelope to preserve its fresh, natural flavor.
- The tea bags are made with eco-friendly paper. No chemicals (which would alter the taste of the tea) touch the tea bag.
- The tea bag is attached to the tag by a pure, sanitized string without the use of metal staples. Thus, no metallic taste is found in the tea.
- The tea is packaged in an air controlled, immaculate chamber which prevents any impurities from affecting the taste of the tea.

My favorite Earl Grey ever! I found it's best when I follow the instructions in the box to not "stew" (oversteep) the tea - that is, don't let the tea bag sit too long in the tea cup.
