Roberts Research Laboratories Collagen Care Pure Collagen Gel, produced by DeMert Brands, is a natural wrinkle fighter recommended for bags under the eyes, facial wrinkles, stretch marks, and dry, irritated skin. Collagen is a natural protein that makes up about 25% of the body. Collagen is mainly found in tendons, muscles, skin, hair, eye, heart. It provides structure to the body and support and connects organs to the skeleton. Collagen is mainly composed of amino acids (the building blocks of proteins) and is the main protein in connective tissue.
An easy way to understand collagen is the glue that holds the body together and is responsible for skin's elasticity. Collagen occurs in many places throughout the body. So far, only 29 types of collagen have been identified and described. Over 90% of the collagen in the body, however, is of type I.

- Collagen Five: cells surfaces, hair and placenta

having used long enough so I'm not quite seeing a difference.... but, this is in my daily regimen and will stay.

I have been using this skin gel for ever, but have been having problems buying it in store for some considerable time now. Anyway, I've been able to get it for a much cheaper price on line! I use it as a skin toner. Once I've cleaned off all of my makeup, I moisten a small piece of cotton and wipe it over my face. It gets rid of the last of the grime and then I can put moisturizer on a truly clean face. I think it's an excellent product that is non greasy and leaves me feeling completely refreshed.

I have been using this product for almost 20 years and cannot say enough good things about it. I honestly believe that when people believe I am 20-25 years younger than I really am is because, for the most part, my years of using this collegen gel. I originally found it at GNC and when they stopped carrying it I was in a panic until I found it on the internet. This is by far the least expensive place I found it so far.
