Concentrated Mineral Drops by Anderson's Health Solute ions
Anderson's Health Solute ions Concentrated Mineral Drops Low-Sodium Mineral Supplement - 4 oz. (120 ml) 60-Day Supply by Mineral Resources International (MRI)
Mineral Resources International Anderson's Concentrated Mineral Drops is the pure, all-natural, low sodium mineral concentrate from the Great Salt Lake. Your body relies on minerals and trace minerals each and every day to support numerous biochemical and physiological functions each day. Minerals form the foundation of our health. Minerals help form and maintain bone, assist in muscle function and nerve transmission, and energy conversion. Literally each of the millions of cells in your body requires minerals. Unfortunately, many of the foods we consume today don’t provide sufficient amounts of minerals we need. Further, other factors such as stress, exercise, the use of certain medications can further deplete already low levels of minerals.
Using Anderson’s Concentrated Mineral Drops helps replenish the essential minerals and trace minerals you require each day. Anderson’s Low-Sodium CMD is a highly concentrated liquid mineral supplement from Utah’s Great Salt Lake. It contains the same basic mineral balance as sea water except that it has been concentrated to nearly 50 times the concentration of sea water through a natural solar evaporation process with nearly 99 percent of the sodium removed. The minerals in Anderson’s CMD are in a natural, ionic, electrolyte solution—the same form as the minerals found in the fluids of the body. This is also the same form as many of the elements in pure, natural drinking water.
Why are minerals so important? Minerals are vital for life, health, and well being. Minerals forge our skeletal structure, they help keep our hearts beating, muscles functioning, and help transmit messages throughout the central nervous system. Your body relies on a steady intake of minerals each day. If we don’t receive the required amount of minerals, within a short time the body’s stores are depleted (mineral deficiency state), we feel rundown, lethargic, and may become vulnerable to a wide crossover of mineral deficiency effects. Minerals work in synergy with other minerals (calcium teams with magnesium and trace elements) and vitamins to perform their respective functions in health.
How do minerals and trace minerals work in the body? Voluminous research has indicated that minerals and trace minerals are vital to our well being and are the key to abundant health and vitality. These elements work together—synergistically—along with vitamins, enzymes, and amino acids to maintain proper acid-base balance, water balance, muscle function, and nerve conduction. Once an ionic mineral is absorbed, it is carried via the bloodstream to the cells, transported across cell membranes and utilized by the body. The body has dynamic and very narrow needs for minerals, electrolytes, and trace minerals.
Which is more important minerals or vitamins? Both are essential to human health. Every living cell depends on minerals and vitamins to form the proper composition of body fluids, to build bone, transmit nerve signals throughout the nervous system, etc. Both vitamins and minerals are interdependent on one another. However, vitamins and minerals work synergistically. What is important and what is truly unique and innovative about Anderson's Health Solute ions’ products is that they’ve combined multiple tiers of nutrition—minerals, trace minerals, vitamins, nutrient co-factors, etc.—into a tablet.
Are all minerals and trace minerals the same? What is the difference between “ionic” minerals and “colloidal?”
No, minerals and trace minerals are not the same. An ionic mineral is a charged element that, when broken down into solution, becomes either positively or negatively charged. In solution, ionic minerals work to find a netural balance by associating positive and negatives charges. As minerals pass through the small intestine, the body binds ionized elements and transfers them to the blood stream where they are then directed to the specific area(s) of the body requiring additional support. Colloidal minerals are those elements mined from ancient sea beds and vegetation. They are an aggregate of atoms suspended in a solution. As such, they cannot be easily assimilated by the body and do not conduct the body electrically.
Do I still need to take a daily multiple if I take Anderson's Concentrated Mineral Drops or the Omnimin? Yes, both Anderson's Concentrated Mineral Drops and Omnimin provide magnesium, an essential mineral, and full-spectrum balance of minerals and trace minerals. However, the liquid minerals are not a significant source of calcium. Therefore, Anderson's reccomends that you take a daily multiple to ensure you are receiving your body's daily dietary needs of essential vitamins such as vitamin C, E, and antioxidants. Anderson's kindly suggests their Enhanced Essential daily multi-vitamin supplement, which contains all of the essential minerals.
When is the best time to take the tablet formulas-morning or evening? Please refer to the individual bottle. Some products, such as the Enhanced Essential multiple, recommend six tablets per day. Other products reccomend two or three tablets daily. However, it is best to consume supplements with food or a meal. This helps to ensure absorption and assimilation of the vitamins and minerals (fat soluble vitamins require fat in order to be assimilated) and minimize stomach upset.
I've noticed that some of Anderson's supplements contain herbs. Why? One of the unique features of our products has always been the marriage or blending of multiple tiers of nutrition-i.e., minerals, vitamins, and herbs. Anderson's feels that this incorporation not only sets their formulas apart from other supplements, but provides unique benefits. Herbs can be very useful and have been used safely for thousands of years. There is a strong reliance on and tradition of using herbal remedies in asian cultures. Here in the United States, there is a similarly a tradition of the use of herbs among Native Americans and early settlers. The herbs that are found in Anderson's supplement formulas are carefully researched before they are added to their product.
How are the herbs sterilized that are in Anderson's formulas? Many herbs are sterilized through means such as irradiation or the use of ethylene oxide or EtO as it is known. EtO is a substance often used to sterilize certain items that are not able to be sterilized via other methods. For instance, spices and herbs as well as medical devices are often sterilized with EtO. Anderson's is one of few companies in the industry to only purchase and use non irradiated herbs and non-ethylene oxide treated herbs in their formulas. Anderson's purchases herbs from vendors that have been sterilized via heat, steam or ozone sterilization techniques.
Can I take additional amounts of herbs even if they're contained in Anderson's formula? Before taking any dietary supplement, it's recommended that you first check with your physician or health care provider-especially if you have a medical condition and/or are taking prescription medications. Herbs can interfere with certain medications and there are risks involved in taking high levels of herbs. Therfore, please review your supplement regimen with your physician and check with him or her before taking an herbal supplement-especially if it is an herb already provided in one of the Health Solute Ions formulas.

Consume 1/4 ml to 2 ml CMD mixed with foods or beverages so that daily consumption equals 2 ml. Consuming larger amounts or the full daily dose all at once may have a laxative effect. CMD is bitter, but small amounts in food and beverages can enhance flavors. Spreading consumption over the day improves absorption.
If you are under the care of a physician and/or on prescription medicines please consult your physician before consuming any dietary supplements.
