Kamut Grain
The only whole grain grainy enough to warrant its own trademark. It’s an ancient relative of wheat, and it’s also always organic. Now that’s Nature's Path's kind of whole grain.

Quinoa
One of those ancient grains that’s been around a long, long time, and for good reason. It’s a complete protein, gluten-free, and a source of healthy fats too.

Benefit Yourself & The Earth with Wise & Healthy Food Choices
Since the beginning of time, agriculturally based cultures of the world have created a heritage of high quality nutrition and agricultural stability by selecting the best seeds of each crop and returning them to a biologically rich soil year after year. Those of us who have grown up with tradition of organic diversity believe in sharing it with the world. For decades, Nature's Path has been gathering and blending exceptionally nutritious heirloom grains to create their unique Heritage cereal. History, delicious taste & organic goodness all come together in this heritage. Enjoy your breakfast!

What's Special About Nature's Path's Heritage?

  • Kamut Khorasan Wheat: Believed to be of Egyptian origin kept alive by peasant farmers in Egypt and the Middle East, Kamut Khorasan wheat has 20 to 40% more protein than durum wheat, with higher levels of lipids, amino acids and vitamins.
  • Oats: A traditional staple of the Scottish, Irish, Russian and Polish peoples, they contain significant levels of protein and B vitamins. The oldest known cultivated grain, oats were found in a Bronze Age cave settlement in Switzerland.
  • Barley: A cup of cooked, whole-grain barley contains as much protein as a cup of milk. This high protein profile and the ability to grow in poor soil and under cooler climates spread historic Barley cultivation across northern Europe, Tibet and China.
  • Millet: Millet was first cultivated in northern China, Tibet & India and historic records show it was spread by the Romans into Italy & France. Millet is an excellent source of niacin, thiamin and phyto-nutrients believed to lower cholesterol.
  • Spelt: An early form of wheat with notable measures of iron and potassium, B vitamins, and high levels of amino acids and fiber, it is considered to be of prehistoric Iranian origin.
  • Quinoa: Native poeple of the Peruvian and Bolivian highlands first cultivated Quinoa more than 5,000 years ago. Known as a complete protein, Quinoa (pronounced 'KEEN-wah') has an amino acid profile superior to other grains.

Nature's Path Manifesto
Nature’s Path lives for healthy, great-tasting organic foods. It’s why they get up in the morning. But Nature's Path is also a company that wants to do more than just sell breakfast foods. Nature's Path aspires to advance the cause of people and planet, along the path to sustainability. And Nature's Path likes to think they put their money where their mouth is. Or rather, where their heart is. Because growing organic, healthy foods in a sustainable way is Nature's Path's passion—the cornerstone of their family company. It’s where, and how, it all began.

But Nature's Path also knows that when it comes down to it—no matter what kind of a difference they want to make as a company, and no matter how much you share those values—if Nature's Path's food isn’t delicious and exciting, they’re not living up to their fullest potential.

Healthy foods don’t need to be boring and tasteless. Which is why Nature's Path spends their days and nights dreaming up new recipes, tracking down exotic new ingredients, and researching the latest (or most ancient) superfoods. Nature's Path knows you’ll be pretty impressed when you read their labels. But Nature's Path hopes you’ll be even more impressed when you take your first bite.

About Nature's Path Organic

It has been said, “You are what you eat.” What we eat is directly transformed into blood, bones, skin, muscle and consciousness. So, where does the food we’re eating come from? Nature’s Path believes food, organically grown, is better for you and better for the environment. Organic foods contain no preservatives or additives, and are grown without synthetic pesticides, herbicides or fungicides which agribusiness typically sprays onto our food. These chemicals can then find their way into the soil, water, air and eventually our bodies. Just as eating wholesome organic food helps to make healthy bodies, organic farming helps make healthy soil and a healthy planet.
