PVC Free and Phthalate Free
PolyVinyl Chloride (PVC) is a hard plastic that requires harsh chemical softeners, such as phthalates, to make it appropriate for use in soft plastic baby toys such as squirty toys. In 2003, i Play Green Sprouts discovered that phthalates were shown to disrupt reproductive functions and cause other developmental problems, so i Play Green Sprouts launched a line of toys free from PVC and phthalates.
BPA Free
Bisphenol-A (BPA) is used in hard, clear plastics sometimes used in baby toys to prevent breakage. In 2006, i Play Green Sprouts learned that BPA also disrupts reproductive functions and causes other developmental problems, so i Play Green Sprouts added a line of BPA free toys to their line.

Give to baby to play with during bathtime! Always supervise baby when they are in the tub.

These are great stacking cups for the following reasons:
-safer type of plastic than other brands
-really fit inside of each other perfectly
-very smooth and well made
-stack really well to build a tower (which baby will of course knock over :))
-each one has a different pattern on the bottom and little holes so that they can be used in the bath
-perfect sizes for baby to grab and chew
My only room for improvement is that the pinkish and bluish cups are hard to describe in terms of pointing out what color they are to my baby-- I have to say to him "green cup, yellow cup, uhhh pink cup?" it's really kind of salmon colored. It would be nice if the cups were just green, yellow, pink, and blue so I could use them to teach colors. Still very happy with this product though!

Surprisingly, these are my granddaughters favorite toys and she has a lot of toys at my house. She tries to copy my stacing, but her baby hands aren't quite ready for that feat.
