Ultra Botanicals Pregnenolone plus DHEA Female Hormone Support is often called the master hormone because it can be converted to many other steroidal hormones. DHEA supplementation has shown to return the DHEA levels to those experienced during youth. Pregnenolone serves as a precursor to other hormones, including dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) and progesterone. The cells of both the adrenal gland and the central nervous system synthesize pregnenolone. Human studies show there are much higher concentrations of pregnenolone in the nervous tissue, than in the bloodstream. Animal studies indicate the concentration of pregnenolone in the brain is ten-fold higher than that of other stress-related hormones (including DHEA). Pregnenolone is present in the blood as both free pregnenolone and a more stable form, pregnenolone-sulfate.

I have tried several brands of both Pregnenolone and DHEA separately, but have never had very good results. I thought I would try this formula and wow, what a difference! So much more energy! Will definately stick with this formula and brand.
