The health and integrity of the epithelial lining of the gastrointestinal tract is important for proper absorption of nutrients, healthy microbial balance in the gut, and homeostasis throughout the body. When the gastrointestinal tract has increased intestinal permeability (also known as leaky gut), an environment results that is conducive to inadequate absorption of nutrients, and increased absorption of toxins, pathogenic bacteria and inflammatory substances, which can potentially weaken immunity and health. Increased intestinal permeability can occur among individuals with chronic stress or allergies, or who consume caffeine, alcohol, or foods processed with chemical additives, or who overuse prescription and over the counter drugs, or who are exposed to environmental contaminants such as car exhaust, perfumes and cleaning chemicals. Dietary supplementation with nutrients the body uses to produce healthy epithelial tissue, regulate transit time and balance microbiology may support gastrointestinal health. Digestive support may also benefit individuals with increased intestinal permeability.

I don't have a gall bladder... using this bile has helped every part of my body since I am now helping break down fats and proteins better... wonderful..
Did not realize I had ordered this Ox Bile at 125 mg. as I was taking 500 mg. Am pleased with how well this has worked but prefer the higher dosage.
Convenient and affordable.
I use this as recommended by my doctor to help digest fats without a gallbladder. No aftertaste or burning and seems to work well.
Helps in digestion if your gallbladder has been removed.
Great product especially for anyone who had had gallbladder surgery.
