Advanced Research Magnesium Orotate 500 mg. is a quality health care supplement product formulated by Hans A. Nieper, M.D. Orotates are mineral salts of orotic acid used by plants and animals to make DNA and RNA. Hans Nieper, a physician and dabbler in offbeat theories of gravitation, used orotates clinically before 1980 until his death in 1998. He thought that orotate salts, being neutrally charged, pass easily through cell membranes. In effect, orotate ferries the mineral atoms into cells and tissues, producing higher concentrations.
Nieper promoted orotates as treatments for nearly every ailment imaginable and was consequently ignored; most of his medical claims were never rigorously tested. I had read somewhere that this product would help regulate out of control PVC's (premature ventricular contractions). If you suffer from PVC's, so you how scary they are, and you also know that there are NO good solutions out there. After I started taking these, I saw a huge difference within a week. I'm 42, and I take 2 a day. Make sure you take them with food because they will upset your stomach. My PVC's are not completely gone, but I'd say they are 85% to 90% gone. Better yet, the strength of the skipped beat seems to not be as heavy. (if you have PVC's, you know what I'm talking about.) I highly recommend.

A naturopath recommended that I take this to help my congestive heart problems. I also started taking hawthorn berry powder, garlic powder. Together, they seem to be making me feel much better. Been on this regimen for about 2 months, and I definitely feel more energetic, can breathe better, etc. This brand seems to work just fine.
