Jarrow Formulas Ultra Bone-Up promotes bone density! Jarrow Formulas Ultra Bone-Up provides ossein hydroxyapatite complex (OHC) (from free-range Australian/New Zealand calves), which includes the superior combinations of the inorganic calcium lattice of microcrystalline hydroxyapatite (MCHA) within an organic protein milieu rich in naturally occurring growth factors. The OHC is combined with Vitamin D3 and Vitamin K2 as MK-7 (a more bioavailable form of Vitamin K) to support the deposition of calcium into the bones as well as to assist in building the organic bone matrix. Also added to Jarrow Formulas Ultra Bone-Up are the nutrients potassium citrate, glucosamine, SDG lignans from flaxseed, and curcumin for optimal osteo support.

Suggested Use
Take 3 tablets twice per day with meals, preferably dividing the number of tablets equally with each meal (for a total of 6) to facilitate maximum absorption or as directed by your qualified health care consultant. After taking ultra bone-up for one year (6 tablets per day), my bone density showed some increase in the test result. Great product. Of course, I exercised routinely too.

i thought it would be good product for me, but my doctor suggested calcium citrate instead and i will have to return this product. plus it seems to cause constipation. ugh.

I have severe osteoporosis. I was on Fosomax for years. I got off the drug for dental procedures and never went back. My next DEXA scan showed very little difference. I pretty much held my own. I have since joined the gym and am building real bone strength. This product is a lot less expensive here than the Health Food Store!!

I've been using Ultra Bone-Up for about 6 months, and my bone density tests have shown a marked improvement. I take no other supplements for my bones, and I believe Ultra Bone-Up will continue to support my frame as nothing else. I am a firm advocate of this product and highly recommend it to all! I take it at night to help me sleep well, too.
