Thai Kitchen Instant Rice Noodle Soup Thai Ginger & Vegetable without flavor enhancers Disodium Inosinate and Disodium Guanylate (I&G).
Disodium guanylate and Disodium inosinate are flavor enhancer, which may be non-vegetarian. Its sources are mineral, animal (meat/fish), vegetable, or fungal. Often used together to create a deeper, more savory flavor. Thai Ginger & Vegetable Instant Rice Noodle Soup is WITHOUT these flavor enhancers.
Disodium guanylate and Disodium inosinate (the combination is known as disodium 5'-ribonucleotides) are natural disodium salt of the flavor enhancer guanosine monophosphate (GMP). They are commonly used in conjunction with glutamic acid (monosodium glutamate, MSG).
As it is a fairly expensive additive, they are not used independently of glutamic acid; if disodium guanylate and disodium inosinate are present in a list of ingredients but MSG does not appear to be, it is likely that glutamic acid is provided as part of another ingredient such as a processed soy protein complex.

Suggested Use
Cooking Time: 3 minutes
Stovetop:
Step 1: In a small saucepan, bring 1 cup of water to a boil.
Step 2: Add rice noodles, powder seasoning and oil seasoning.
Step 3: Cook for approximately 3 minutes, stirring often, until noodles are tender. Enjoy!
Microwave:
In a mircrowave-safe cup or bowl , immerse rice noodles, powder seasoning and oil seasoning in 1 cup of water. Cook on high temperature fo approximately 3 minutes or until water is hot. Stir well; let stand until noodles are tender. Enjoy.

This flavor, like all flavors in the thai kitchen lineup, are excellent. Personally, I prefer the same version but with the flavor enhancers, as I dont think anything is wrong with them and they lower the sodium content substantially. You can tell the difference by the name as well - "Thai Ginger" has the flavor enhancers while "Thai ginger and vegetable" does not.
Either way, if you get this version, its still close in flavor and tastes great. It has a mild ginger taste and its not spicy. The noodles are not fried, and are rice noodles, which are low in fat. Its also gluten free which is a plus. This is a good substitute for traditional ramen that is easy to cook and great to keep on hand. If you are extra hungry, make two packets at once, or even add extra rice noodles yourself or some tofu.

I have tasted Thai Noodle Soup at restaurants this doesn't even come close. The seasonings are awful bland and missing something. The noodles are great for me I put it in soups or add to it and make a meal of another type since they are individual servings.
