Pet Guard Mr. Barky's Vegetarian Dog Biscuits 21 oz. (595 g)

Pet Guard Mr. Barky's Vegetarian Dog Treats are a crunchy, delicious, all-natural snack made with whole grains, added essential vitamins and chelated minerals including calcium to maintain strong teeth and bones. Mr. Barky's Vegetarian Biscuits are a highly-digestible snack made with unsaturated fat. These treats are oven-baked and preserved with natural vitamins C & E. They also clean teeth and freshen breath by helping to reduce plaque. Pet Guard Mr. Barky's Treats contain no animal by-products, artificial colors or flavors, added sweeteners, salt or sugar.

Everyone wants long, healthy lives for their pets, and some people are geniuses at achieving that. Mr. Barky, a dog raised by a very special pet-guardian, lived to a wonderful old age eating special dog biscuits she baked for him. Crunchy and tasty, the home made, bone-shaped biscuits were Mr. Barkys favorite treat. Although he was generally quite a dignified dog, Mr. Barky would beg for them. He would even do tricks for them. At times, he seemed able to ask for them in words.

And he knew when baking day was coming. The bowls came out, and the big spoons and boxes of fresh-smelling grains. Mr. Barky hung around the kitchen on those days, waiting for the delicious toasty smell, an aroma very much like that of baked bread. In fact, Mr. Barky's biscuits were made of the same ingredients his "human" used in the foods she lovingly created for the rest of her family - wheat flour, whole oat groats, whole ground brown rice, whole barley. She put soy flour into Mr. Barky's batter, and whole ground yellow corn. (Mr. Barky had always been very fond of corn.) She used human-grade sunflower oil, of course, for this most important member of her household. Mr. Barky may not have realized that, but he did appreciate the care. He returned all the love his family gave him, and then some. Mr. Barky was quite a dog. Mr. Barky probably ate a ton of those dog bones in his lifetime, certainly none were ever found hidden under his bed or in his favorite garden spot. He ate them all.

When Mr. Barky joined his ancestors - a long line of intelligent, well-loved dogs - his guardian agreed to give PetGuard her secret recipes for Mr. Barky's Dog Biscuits. She knew their philosophy was the same as hers. All the food they make is completely natural, without added sugars, salt, artificial flavors, artificial preservatives, nitrites, nitrates, artificial colors or byproducts.

To the original recipe, Pet Guard added just a couple of extras to make the nutritional value of these tasty vegetarian treats the best available. They've added yucca, and some essential vitamins and chelated minerals. But that's it. As far as Mr. Barky's successors could tell, they're Mr. Barky's beloved biscuits. Pet Guard is pleased to be entrusted with the recipes for Mr. Barky's Dog Biscuits. Now well-loved dogs everywhere can have a very sensible dog's very favorite treat. Thanks, Mr. Barky! And thanks to Mr. Barky's "mom."
