Royal Jelly for Beautiful Skin
Royal jelly is made by worker bees and fed to the queen in her first days of life to ensure her growth and fertility. It's considered to be one of the world's most nutrient-rich substances, packed with 134 nutrients, including essential amino acids, minerals and Vitamins B1, B2, B5, B6, C, E along with Biotin, Niacin and Folic Acid. No wonder it helps the queen grow to 40 times the size of worker bees and live 50 times longer.
This natural ingredient is widely used around the world, where it is known for its ability to enhance skin texture and smoothness. Burt's Bees uses royal jelly in many of their natural skin care products because it is known to help enhance skin's texture and reduce the appearance of fine lines. Royal jelly has also been found to have antioxidant properties and be beneficial to over-all health and anti-aging programs.
To ensure that the bees and their hive are never harmed by Burt's harvesting practices, they source royal jelly from only the queen larvae. Their food source is never compromised during the harvesting process because these larvae are continually stocked with the substance at a rate much faster than they could ever consume it. That means both you and the queen can reap the benefits of royal jelly.

About Burt's Bees
At Burt’s Bees, they scour the good earth to find the most natural, effective ingredients to put in our products. To Burt’s Bees, the word “natural” means only one thing. It means, “harvested from nature.” And they adhere to that definition like the strictest of school teachers. There are ingredients that you will never find in any Burt’s Bees product. Things like petroleum which can be toxic. Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, which is a harsh, aggressive ingredient used in certain beauty products. And when was the last time you saw a farmer growing Propylene Glycol? Rather than loading their products up with harsh chemicals or unnecessary fillers, they offer you only the good stuff.

I really like this Burt's Bee product! I have tried their other facial cleansers/scrubs and really didn't care for them. However, this is nothing like the other facial products. I love this wash. It smells great and it cleans without stripping. Very gentle on the face as a good wash should be. I have sensitive/combo skin.
This is a nice face cleanser. The only thing i don't like is it is a bit perfumy, unlike other Burts Bees products. But, it feels really nice and doesn't dry out my skin.
Love how it cleans my face, and the pump bottle is great too!
