Healing Herbs Kit by Flower Essence Services
Flower Essence Services - Healing Herbs Kit
Flower Essence Service Healing Herbs Ltd was set up in 1988 to prepare Bach flower remedies to the highest standards, precisely according to the original directions of Dr Edward Bach. That is why they place such emphasis upon preparing the mother tinctures in a natural environment, on perfect sunny days, using the trees and plants which are healthy and in full bloom. They are a small company where people work together in purpose-made buildings, isolated in the Herefordshire countryside, in harmony with our surroundings. They put the living forces of nature at the heart of our production process. Because we are not a ‘volume producer’ we can also pay full attention to every part of the production process and provide a true service to our customers.
Healing Herbs Ltd is run by Julian Barnard. He has been involved with the remedies since 1976 and is known internationally as an essence maker, author and teacher on the subject of Dr Bach and his flower remedies. They believe that there is a thread which runs between all the people involved in essence production - from the bowl set out in the sunshine, to the individuals who take the remedy for themselves. They all contribute to the quality of the essence. They want our customers to have a direct, untainted link to the bright days and perfect flowers from which their essences are made. In the Healing Herbs Kit there are 38 flower remedies, plus two bottles of Five-Flower Formula. The mother essences are prepared in England by Julian Barnard. 40 1/4 ounce (7.5 ml) bottles in two boxes, enclosed in a colorful wrapper. There is also the Seasons of the Soul Gift Box. This handsome boxed set contains six 2-ounce size herbal oils from the Soul mandala: Benediction, Dandelion Dynamo, Mugwort Moon Magic, Arnica Alleve, Saint John’s Shield and Calendula Caress. It comes with an informative color brochure.
Healing Herbs’ traditional Bach flower remedies are prepared in the field and preserved in full-strength organic brandy. They should be diluted and, if desired, combined to make individual dosage remedies.Up to five essences can be used in any one combination. Five Flower remedy counts as a single essence and can itself be used in combination with up to four others. You will need an empty dropper bottle. Put about 20ml of water into the bottle, then add two drops each of your chosen essences, adding a little brandy if desired as a preservative. This is your personal remedy at its 'dosage strength'. Take four drops of this dilution, four times daily. Alternatively, for short term problems put two drops of each stock remedy into a glass of water and sip at intervals until relief is obtained. DosageBenefit is derived from regular use rather than by the volume of Bach remedy that is taken at any one time. An inappropriate remedy will not hurt or cause adverse reaction. Remedies may be taken direct from the stock bottle but this has no greater benefit than the diluted remedy. It is important, if possible, to work consciously with the remedies. If you experience little or no change then you should review your formulation. Trust your instinct and intuition. Work with and explore the remedies dynamically. If taken in a glass of water for instance, the Bach remedy can be modified daily or in extreme circumstances, even hourly.Working with the Bach flower remedies presents a challenge: Dr Bach’s flowers hold a mirror to our emotional and psychological state. They help us to understand how we respond to change. We can find a way to work with problems and difficulties. Individuals and their emotional condition are central to the experience and process of healing.
