Suggested Use

The best vitamin C product I have ever used. My skin has never looked better.

This is an amendment to my above review. This is one of the highest concentrations of Vitamin C on the market, 15%. MyChelle has one with 17% but is more expensive for less product (.5oz vs. Devita 2oz). Again, I LOVE this product and thinks it's a great value. If I could hug Devita, I would!

Usually with natural products my skin gets red with hives, but I haven't experienced this with any of the DeVita products. I've been using this serum for a month now and my combo skin is now very soft, doesn't get too oily anymore, and hasn't broken out the entire time. I owe it to this serum for it's improved appearance. The only gripe I have with this is the smell and consistency. Since it's Vitamin C I was expecting some kind of fruity smell, but this smells and feels like diner syrup. It has a sticky consistency as well but that goes away once it absorbs into your skin, which is pretty quick. Regardless of the smell, I gave this serum a full rating because it's absolutely wonderful! I'd buy it again.

This product made me break out badly. I used it for about a month just to make sure it wasn't another product causing the breakouts, but once I stopped using this product, my breakouts stopped. I was disappointed because I really wanted a high level vitamin C product.

I am using all of the products suggested for my skin type. Some in the morning, some at night. Great line and it is nice to have and trust every thing from the same company!

The first time I used this product my face turned red and rash appeared. By the third day it got worse so I stopped using it. I will go back to Myshelle, which didn't cause my skin to break out and worked well.

I think it is a good product. The only negative thing is that it stings your skin.

This is as powerful as any c serum I've found! And it's organic to boot! The best!

I use this before applying moisturizer to my face in the morning. I feel that it has helped diminish the appearance of fine lines around my eyes. It's very thin/watery, so you have to be careful when pumping it out.

I have only been using this product for a couple of weeks so it's too early to tell if it's making a huge difference in my skin. I must say, though, my skin feels really soft after I put it on so I will continue using it.

I enjoy the c...I use it in the morning and it usually feels like it helps lift my face and wake it up. It is a good start to the day and helps with keeping the face hydrated all day.

I'm still unsure as to whether this C Serum makes any kind of difference. Since it's so thin it must be applied quickly

I was recommended this product to help slough off the dead skin cells to help regenerate new cell growth for my acne scars. So I got it. I like it a lot, it does "tingle" quite a bit when you out it on, and to counterbalance that feeling I use the DMAE Optimal Rejuvenation on top of it and off to bed I go. I routinely rotate this with a couple other Devita treatments every night (Glycolic Acid Blend, Sun Damage Repair Serum and Skin Brightener with Kojic Acid) My skin feels great, and I love the scent, it's light and not overwhelming. The solution itself is very watery until you put it on your face, then it becomes slightly "tacky" to the touch, I really could care less about that since I use this before bed and not before going out for the day. The Optimal Rejuvenation is slightly greasy, so if you use those together, then I recommend you use those at night only, since it will make you look very shiny!

I can't say enough about this product! It is awesome, my skin looks amazing. I have this glow. I will admit that at first it is a little harsh (for lack of a better word) but as your skin gets used to it, it is wonderful!

This is an updated review. My first trial of this product did make me break out and it stung the skin. However, I wanted to give it another try, as I really liked the quality ingredients and wanted to see if my skin could tolerate it and benefit from it. One thing changed this time round. Instead of applying the serum directly to my cleansed face, I instead first applied a light moisturizer as a "buffer". Then I applied the C Serum and it did not sting my face at all. I have been using this product now for 2 months and I absolutely LOVE it. My skin looks refreshed, soft and the high level of C has helped with the overall appearance of my skin. The key for me was to apply a "buffer' before this serum so that it would not burn/sting my skin. I will continue to use this product regularly. I love all of Devita's products. Super high quality, truly natural-based products.

I use the C Serum in the morning before the Time Age Defying Moisturizer to help minimize the fine lines on my face. And it works.

I've been using DeVita's C Serum for a couple of months and I'm really happy with the results. My skin is clearer, smoother, and more radiant. It makes me look as though I've spent the day at a spa! As a doctor of natural medicine, I'm very concerned with dangerous chemical ingredients in cosmetics, so I am thrilled with DeVita's line of products because the ingredients are very pure. DeVita's C Serum has a high level of Vitamin C (which is a refreshing change from products that claim to have it but when you read the ingredient list it's just a trace amount), so it may sting a little at first. Deanna's comment contained a great suggestion if you have sensitive skin to first put a tiny bit of moisturizer on before applying the C Serum.

This product is really making a difference. I do have oily acne prone skin and at first it broke me out really bad and it stings but I kept using it and now my scars and large pores are starting to diminish and it's no longer causing break outs.

I reluctantly tried this serum after I could no longer get the kind I'd been using. My face immediately felt tight and dry even with the Devita Evening Rich Moisturizer I ordered along with it. I tried them both separately with other face care that I knew I could use and still got the same results. Tight dry, flaky skin. Of course, I can't return them so my money is wasted. Think twice ladies before you waste your money.
